i was thinking about this the other day and couldnt really get my head round it -
using front wheel spacers, you are not only widening the track but you are extending the "swing" of the front wheels aswell?
sort of when turning lock to lock the front wheels are actually moving backwards and...
soon you will get the hump and just go for it, it WILL move with your breaker bar that long - wether it snaps or undoes is another story but either way its not much of a problem
try harder? no real tips you can give here heat up the exaust around it cut the plug off and get a good ring spanner on it and go for it.
if it snaps drill it out + retap.
on a serious note the aircon clutch itself is made from the same material as a clutch as you know it - so it will smell like that.
short of the local kebab shop could have emptied the contents of its bins in your scuttle panel and its sucking it through the pollen filter - or just bacteria in...
i dont know why exactly i came up with this i think i was just having a bit of a bored moment -

nothing, the engine just comes on cam.
its the optimum revs at which the cam is designed.
the whole vvc malarky is just basically emmisions related useless twoddle.

ducktape your spanners and screwdrivers to a couple of 4foot long broom poles and you will be fine.
or if you dont have the supplys needed for that approach disconnect the battery for 15 mins before you start work on it.
clip the airbag off, unbolt the wheel fit your boss (needs to be an airbag...
Re: 70% complete 172RWD!
need a cable operated handbrake for mot - hydraulic on its own wont pass as it needs another means of stopping if all the hyraulics were to fail.
rally cars all need to be road legal, and of course they all have hydraulic handbrakes - back in the day a little trick of...
not true, front fogs arent testable at all.
the "if they are there they have to work" rule only applies to a center brakelight and if you want to get technical it can apply to headlights sidelights indicators etc on a daylight mot.
im not sure to tell you the truth, my 16inch laguna wheels are just about as close as id want to get the spring seat on the shock to the tyre.
i have seen 17s on a clio but it had about 1mm of clearence between tyre and shock.
arches arent really a problem its the shocks- although if running...
only when you drive it you say? on fords they suffer alot with speed sensors on the gearbox that cause the exact same fault.
on them we just tend to unplug them.
if your car has the speed sensor on the gearbox not through the abs i would change that the speedo still works normally but can cause...
