thats the whole point of this post really i will be fitting it myself, i am a mechanic myself and dont claim to be a wiring genius but i understand enough to fit it, just the standard setup im having probs with.
i even tried to get wiring diagrams through work but renault wont even fax a...
will have a search about but if anybody does know of who it was it would be great, just not really going for the whole spare key thing would much rather bypass it for good so i can then wire in the clifford immobiliser to the same circuits
Right, first off i did see the other immobiliser thread but that one started off on kind of the wrong foot so thought i would ask in a new one.
The problem i have is i want to fit a clifford remote start/alarm/imobiliser to my 04 1.2 16v, problem that leaves me with is i cant remote start with...
You can do them with out the tools ALOT quicker, for the garage to turn the job down is amazing, ive never done a 172/182 but i've done a good few renaults and nearly all the special renault tools can be replaced by a tipex pen and a lever bar ;)
a mate of mine has actually done a belt on a 182...
going completely from memory i've done a few renaults this way,,
*if you want to program 2 kets*take the back of the key off and on the pcb you will see m (for master) and another letter on your spare key
put the master key in the ignition, turn ignition on and press the fob button then within...

hmm, so no way of fitting the caliper bracket to the standard axle then
thought as much
so im looking at 120 for an axle, hubs bearings and all the usual brake bits
