Jamie tbh any normal wax or sealant will burn off. Using a ceramic sealant or metal sealant is the only option.
Look at the Gtechniq or Nanolex range. It's the only thing i'd bother putting on an exhaust tip after deep cleaning, the soot just wipes off.
I like the idea of using Ceramic sealants as base products if you really do want to wax/glaze over them.
For eg on my next car i'll have Ceramic base and hopefully if it is Red i'll want to glaze and wax it. Because the base is so strong it will minimise any marks and swirls from washing so the...
Lols! Definitely no contest!
I never thought they would make an exhaust intrusive enough, especially not in a Golf. Hardly their market. I'd be gutted if it had no sound right enough, you need some drama.
That S3 looks a bit normal, a bit pony.
It's simply epic! It really is some machine! The all round package is superb! Those pictures really capture it well. What's happening with the 997?
Did you ever look at the S3 Rob? Big differences?
Remember your money back guarantee mate. PB are very good that way.
Get that C1.5 out to you tomorrow mate. Yeah I see what you're saying. Although if protected well enough and polished well before hand you might find that it doesn't actually need polished!
Mine hasn't sen anything...
Lovely mate. Looks very fresh. I think I always preferred, Bianca White? But this is definitely a favourite. Really subtle colour.
Any plans for it? Why the purchase?
It's not bad from the reports i've seen but I do stages differently so it doesn't suit me at all. Tardis pwns tar removal and iron x on it's own is very very good.
Always the same with GT stuff. Use once on your own car then sell on and recoup all monies.
It lasts that long you're never going to have to re-apply it really.
Hi chap, sorry I missed the thread first time round. We are a fair trek from Inverness but Ali was willing to travel from Aberdeen to use us. Sadly holidays did not suit. We would happily do the job for you mate.
I would certainly look at somewhere closer first, speak to the bodyshop and pay...
Superb work Russ. What polish combo did you go for? Hard paint as usual?
Really nice finish... indoors.
I'd have been tempted with a Z2/Bos combo on Black or Shield/Bos. Really love the show look Bos gives. Not ideal for durability right enough! :o
The look superb in Black. Very unassuming imo.
2 in my area, sadly one c**t as black chromed his wheels. They look s**t. The other has nice standard Silver rims.
Of course. It's never been topped with any product and washed with Gwash weekly. As the car is being sold I won't really get to find out how it got on.
Exo base for the next car probably.
I would agree with your own products pov. I don't agree about having to pay for the privilege of using...
I wouldn't worry about Zfx mate. You can layer a couple of hours apart in warm weather.
Their new Sealant formula will have Zfx integrated in it. Couple of months away though.
Shinerama have it mate.
It's easy to sell things to people who maybe don't know the ins and outs of detailing by showing a shiny picture.
I'm sure it will be a great product though. My car has been wearing C1 since early November and hasn't flinched.
I have to agree with this point and it was my first thought upon seeing the picture.
We both know that image would look the same with a very good Lsp on it. Not how I would try and sell my products. Just an opinion.
Re: Twingo going soon
Lovely buy mate. Really love that colour. That's got to be one of the last ones registered, 08' plate!
I've driven another car like mine with an Lsd and I really felt like it would only be needed on track or when really pressing on.
Lols! First up, bargain mate. That is proper fresh looking, sadly it's an uninspiring colour.
No sure why you fitted a new box and didn't do the clutch at the same time. Well worth noting in the future.
Stunningly fun cars.
Claying his paint really will f**k it up. Another thing people shouldn't go into lightly.
Sounds like you want a quick fix. No one local that can give it a quick glaze via machine. Hand glazing isn't ideal if the paint is really bad.
You could try something like Auto Finesse tripple. All in...
