Great idea on the polishing thing mate at CSS. Sorry for having a go mate. It's something that gets my back up because paintwork as you know is expensive and we're not the people who have to fix it.
Haven't we had words before about you giving out shocking advice to people. It's not you that has to pay or fix the f**k up.
It's becoming way too common. Shockingly bad advice mate.
Rotary, low speeds. Finishing pad like this... http://www.shinearama.co.uk/product.php?id=MMM-50388BLUE

Simple mate. Then seal with a wax or sealant.
Polishing with G3 will just leave mental holograms everywhere. If...
No, C1.5 should be used over bare paint (ipa'd) a nano/ceramic sealant.
If anything you would use the wax over the 1.5. Then you would be taking away the self cleaning properties and sheeting properties.
A carnauba spray mate. Field Glaze, Pinnacle Mist, Victoria QD is utterly superb. Z6 is also fine but with heavy carnauba waxes I like carnauba top ups. :)
What I would say is use a pure QD (Z6) between washes to start with then maybe 2 months down the line top with a carnauba one. If you don't...
I've got to be honest and say no. I believe Z6/Z8 are the best in their respective sectors still after all these years.
If you want more protection/durability there are others. If you want looks stick with Z8. The likes of Red Mist etc can't hold a candle to Z8.
There are spray sealants like...
Hi mate, sorry I missed this before. Not sure how I did.
First of all, very nice detail. Everything pretty much covered for a straight forward one. You can instantly see how "clear" the clearcoat is now hence the flake popping. All that decontamination being removed and show the true paint...
Fantastic work mate. Really brought the proper Red out. If you get a chance, try some Best of Show on the paint after glazing one day. On Reds/Blacks it's hard to beat for a "show wax".
Shame you could have taken it a little drive for some better pics though. :(
Just have the one bottle. It's a 250ml one but it's actually really big. Would take ages to finish.

It would blow BW out the water on it's own. Its a mental product mate. It'll also be a great top up product.
Probably £12 posted for a 500ml bottle. Think it's usually £18. Brand new with sprayer. :)
Prima Amigo is still to be beaten in the Glazing sector. So easy yet so rewarding.
Have a look at Waitey's recent threads. His Tvr is a similar colour to the Bmw.
