I just estimated a new Toyota Urban cruiser that wasn't even as bad as that. Parts were 8k alone. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
Bare in mind it's already been estimated by a garage and has been over the 65% threshold hence the cat D.
So I estimate the garage would have repair costs...
10k? What are you fixing it with? Duck tape?
10k would laugh at that.
Salvage is overpriced these days because the agents are having to pay so much for the cars. Shame.
Yes. That's not Silver though.
I actually don't think Iceberg is a bad colour, it's maybe frustration because they stopped one of the best Silvers on the market for a weird Blue Silver collaboration.
You didn't need to sell it but you bought a very expensive Clio mate.
You could have had the 172 and a normal car. Or a 182 which is massive inside or an old 197!
Good thread.
I think a lit of petrolhead type cars are the same.
Look at other forums and you'll see people grow up go German/Vag then a year later end up back in the same 2-3k shitbox they sold. CS is easily a superb example.
R26's, Minis, german, japanese and a lot simply love coming...
Iceberg sucks utter balls. It doesn't know what colour it is. Silver should be clean and bright. Not Blue!
Mercury is super, Nimbus is cool and Titanium is easily the best Silver i've seen. Proper clean and epic flake!
