It does what it says on the tin mate. Other wax style sealants don't last quite aslong and can burn off quite quick. Ceramic coatings are totally different.
All about the preparation though when applying.
It's definitely softer than Glasur but I prefer spreading Glasur.
Amigo is squeaky clean but just so slick. Honestly it blew my mind and i've used so many glazes and cleansers.
I really didn't like the box in the 2 I drove.
Infact I drove 3 and lots of standard MK3's. Just didn't feel great for a sporty hatch. It felt "tall" if that's even possible.
Boom, Mikey to the rescue!
I've no idea if illegal or voids your insurance on a car you don't have... they may deem it as fraudulent though and now Sky Inusrance know about it... well done.
Stunning mate. I'll never recommend Amigo enough. If the car has never been detailed either polish it or use a cleanser before Amigo to get the best from RB. :)
Something like AutoFinesse Rejuvenate is a superb cleanser, there are many others. Even Amigo by machine on the right pad would...
Forget Creme it'll last 3 minutes in Britain. Carbon is very good, Chris has had multiple pots and if you look through his posts most of his RB are finished with Carbon.
The whole Zymol feel and specialness is very good because it's a great price. I spend the extra and buy Glasur. There are...
You told him his paint would fade, that's factually incorrect. The pigment in the paint might change slightly but me and you both know that when people here the word fade they start assuming things. Hence the poor advice.
You said it will eat back through. Not true. Aluminum panels and plastic...
A number of reasons mate, it's always hard to explain. I'll put it another way, some pearl tinters are like milky water. Hence the groundcoat which is just yellow. The pearl is so thin it's take so many coats in some cases to get coverage. We had 7 coats on an Ultimate Green spray card at one...
I've seen you give out paint advice in the past and it was wrong mate. I don't want to have a go but where other peoples cars are involved you need to be careful when giving out wrong advice.
First up paint stripper will not come back through if it's prepped correctly. I know because we have...
Granted.
I don't know what it is about LY though. Maybe it's the ridiculous pain in the ass paint i'd be worried about.
LY is simply so bright. It would attract eyes quicker than RB/AG imo.
You cannot deny they attract attention. I would worry a lot if I had an LY without a garage.
The c***s who do it don't care about the shitty Silver Focus next door.
Some would say down south for me. :o
Every 6 months or so mate. Have some friends in Newcastle itself.
Met Geddes and Kev the last time I was bear Team Valley.
Not a stupid question and I see your point.
I'd always recommend wiping the residue off the trim paint anyway so even if you get a bit of overspill from applying you just wipe it off.
Waxes like Zymol Carbon actually work on plastics and rubbers. Swissvax nano express is a bit of a trade...
