If you read the start of that Speedhunters blog it kinda reminds you why Ford have this "thing" that some other brands don't have.
Some might say rust. :o
Lols. It's hardly comparable to a cheap french hatchback.
I have no interest in it being that good. A trophy is better than my Frp, a Golf Gti is better than a Mk1 Focus RS. The former will never tingle my balls like a Blue Oval will. It's the whole experience of it. You should know that...
Diluted. Fantastic clay lube. Drying aid also.
I can spray my car with it after washing. Leave for 30 seconds. Power wash off and I get zero water spots. C1 moves most of the water off and any left leaves no marks.
It's hard to explain. I'm a Ford fanboi. Most bad Ford's don't make sense. I think the S2 Escort RST was pretty pants. I'd still love one. It's that command of respect that impresses me.
Me and my oldest Brother were talking about that months ago after I showed him some old Escorts, he had a few MK1/MK2/MK3 Fiestas. Still can't decide. :o
My favourite bit. Yeah you realised it was still a Clio and you couldn't be arsed rebuilding it every 3 yards... seen it all before.
If I had a pound for every Turbo'd/Sc'd Clio that was sold within 6 months of conversion i'd be facking loaded.
Welcome mate, plans sound nice. There are some superb projects of 172/182's on here so look away for inspiration.
