Absolutely superb Jim! Amazing workmanship again, no surprise!
Such a weird write up yet so epic at the same time. Crazy big bus.
True correction in an industry filled with shisters imo. Always refreshing to read your stuff.
So glad to see you doing full Gtechniq details. My car is...
Pish if you ask me. Mixing and matching products is fine aslng as they go with each other Z6 for example works with anything it's a pure detail spray. I used it over Glasur winter 2010 after washing. Wax lasted 4 months before I removed it to trial products.
I've even had Z8 over Glasur. I've...
Chemical guys bare bones mate is the best of a poor bunch mate. It won't last long they get way too much abuse but after a detail they will look nice and Black.
It's alright. If you search the name on DW under titles there is lots of threads on it. I did lol at brilliant shine!
Just don't do the full car and try to remove.
Yeah of course but because of the contract it will be a cheap repair for them. No hassle for the OP either going back and forth with estimates and phone calls etc..
If they authorised the repairs it's their fault. They wouldn't authorise the repairs without someone at the insurance company accepting liability.
I'm guessing the other driver is now putting pressure on his own insurance company saying it's not his fault where his insurance is happy it is.
Easy peasy mate. Get a copy of the estimate BEFORE it's repaired. If it's not down to blend the front door ask why.
Shouldn't cost them a lot to have it repaired at their own garage. Makes it easier to claim as well. Good luck with it mate.
He's running a business at the end of the day. He's not out to do favours for people outside the forum and probably not inside the forum either but you see my point.
Still he's a ****** (make up your own word)
Welcome. Your in good hands here anyway and no doubt your man knows a bit about them. Pefect female colour aswell... hi Luke. :o
I feel like we've had a Lucy197 on here before. Worked in Insurance iirc.
Condescending? Really?
Anyway the wheels just don't seem to work. It's not a show car or similar. Just seems a bit like fitting wheels for the sake of it imo.
Your car though dude. Wire in.
Looks fantastic mate. I did my brother in laws a year ago. Fantastic colour to work with of course. :o
Did he use a spray tar remover?
Also the are of the bonnet he is working is way too large imo to be working the polish correctly. Sorry to be picky.
I'm guessing it was Celeste Dettaglio wax?
That's quite poor. I really see no reason why you'd want to do that. Maybe it's the colour. Just looks weird. :(
Agreed. Reps kept it fresh. Rubber isn't cheap though.
Do they do 18" reps?
