It's a weird one mate, personally I would bother with the machie work, most of the work can be done by hand to the level you want it, especially the Mini which is solid colour. Something like Autofinesse tripple or rejuvenate would bring the paint up and then get a good sealant or wax over it...

Yeah, the are much better wearing than the megs ones because it's a single piece of foam and they are bigger but I prefer the megs obes they feel that little bit softer. Infact the both have their plus points mate. Buy one and see what you think, they'll last much much longer than the megs.

Applicators to guys like us are a bit poor but to the man on the street. Ideal. Also it's definitely a panel by panel product.

The RS has never been cheap though. Even the Williams and Ph1 172 were a fair chunk. It's the residuals that are the problem. Have you seen the price of a 7 year old RS Clio? 3k ish. From 16/17k for a 182?

The small tubs last forever mate. I'd personally get the glaze and pick up some AutoGlym HD wax. 6 months+ durability and comes with a few applicators and cloths. Bargain if you ask me. Circa £30 in some places. Will save you re-applying ever few months. :)

Vics Red is very very goid but it's a pure summer wax. Beading and sheeting were fine but it really needs vics quick detailer with it. Infact deep cleanse, vics Red and the qd are a fantastic buy. Maybe look into Raceglaze 55? Think of it like Vics on steroids. Oh and use a good glaze...

It should be Solid colour. No lacquer unlike Capsicum Red, Racing Blue which are Clear overbase. I say should because Renault change their paint like the weather.

I love it mate. That colour combo is easily the best on the 200. It's so much more than "just Silver". Über jealous, the only real 200 that makes me jealous for some reason. Only difference is the GT spoiler is much classier with the Silver especially.
