Oh my! First off glad business is still good Russ. :)
The car is fantastic. It obviously has the 500 cues but I can forgive it.
Most of all though. That's one of the best turnarounds i've seen in that space of time. Simply fantastic mate!
As soon as I seen the colour of the car I couldn't...
Chuffed to bits for you Gaz, i'd never as a ghey buy one in a million years. Japanese and weird engine makes my wallet and balls tighten.
Right up your street though dude. Looking forward to seeing it cleaned up! ;)
I really don't want to turn this into one of those threads mate but accept the blame and move on. You were going to quick.
It's kinda the perfect example of not knowing what's round the corner.
106fa (4000) is a superb polish, easily one of the best alround polishes i've ever used. Polish you have it bang on. I don't like SRP to be honest. Have you read my glaze thread mate? I prefer polish - Glaze - LSP.
Pads, look at the hexalogic range mate.
Correcting paint is a massive thing...
Fantastic guys. Both look so so "honest" examples. What tyres you running Jon? Just notice the tread pattern.
Love the ZS, love the old badges still on the back. No bullshit just a bloody good car with a ride height that would make Goodj cry. ;)
I really don't like waffle weave drying towels on paintwork. They seem super harsh, there is zero pile on them hence causing damage.
It's estimate drying causes in some cases more damage than washing. Not a problem if you're polishing afterwards.
Hard, people might tell you otherwise but working in a bodyshop and detailing I can tell you from 03 on most will be painted with hard clearcoat.
Megs combo is fantastic mate, simple 2 stage combo. I have to ask though do you have much practice correcting etc? Do you use a rotary?
They're pants tbh. I got rid of mine not long after I bought it. They are the cheapest on the market for a reason. Waffle weave shouldn't used to dry paintwork imo, wa to rough from my experience.
Wooly Mammoth or the uber drying towel are the only 2 i'd consider these days for really safe drying.
