Ah lamps are a magic idea mate. That unit we use has masisve lights but they are very high. Although on his White Turbo S it wasn't too bad. Even defects could be seen.
Hopefully it goes well for you. Make sure you wear him down for discount! Lols!
Cool. Anything is fine mate. Fairy up liquid is very good aslong as you don't soak the fabric but better with a foaming apc that will draw it out.
The new vanish is good that you hoover out the fabric.
I got it mate. Me and Craig had already used it on that previous detail but it smells amazing. You impressed? You only need like half an inch in the bottom of a litre bottle and it's like shaving foam.
I have so much snowfoam to use up. Got some cotton candy aswell. Need to speak yto Ronny...
Indeed mate. I'm just popping down to snowfoam the Frp tonight at the unit and give it a wash with gwash. Not been washed since the detail.
PW brings off most of the crap due to C1 anyway! :) Your's is a big bus so finding the time is hard!
I keep meaning to throw him a text. Only spoke to...
I'm not into swapping tyres although I agree about the perishing as my 4 Goodyears DSG3s They have lasted way too long so are starting to give up a little grip even with 4-5mm on each tyre across the board.
I watched a really good programme on tyres before, it showed how different the tyres...
Hello sailor! How's it going?
I've seen this car in the flesh and it's a crediyt to Callum.
Have a look here for the coilovers mate... http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000P1C8UO/?tag=cliospnet01-21
I put it on my new shocks and springs almost a year ago and it's still working away. Look at...
Great post Mark.
Should also try and keep all 4 tyres the same model and don't swap backs to front and vice versa. They wear differently and will have an adverse effect on handling.
They look uber aftermarket those indicators mate. Not wanting.
Standard with Silvervisions so much better. I'd rather have Orange bulbs than those ones.
We found something similar with a spare wheel out an old Clio we had. Tried to put it on a 172 cup to keep it mobile... no go.
I know a lot of people who try it on Golfs ect not realising it won't clear the calipers in somecases.
Of course. I never tell people they have to use 9 buckets and wash with unicorn sperm. If they take their car to a car wash every 2 days then that's fine it's their car but don't start ripping the piss because I invest my time in keeping my car in good condition and spend car on products I enjoy...
Just sell it on, or scoop some out into a panel pot and keep it. I've bought and sold lots of wax. The way Glasur spreads it would take 100 years to get through a pot even using it on 2 cars.
Pros obviously go through lots of wax but then they have lots of choices. RG55 is a fantastic wax. I...
Durability isn't that important. If it was surely everyone would own a sealant or Hybrid like Collinite?
BOS has crap durability. Still nothing i've seen can touch it on a well prepped Black car. The oils wear off after 2 weeks roughly but as a detailer it's the final product that the customer...
When you say "tell them apart" what do you mean? By looks? Surely the performance, ease of use, durability ect.. are just as important.
A lot of waxes do look the same but they don't feel, smell or work the same. People often forget this.
The Lime Prime will remove most of the fillers in SRP mate and it's a tad oily. Lime Prime works better with Dodo waxes.
SRP then Collinite will work better. But I think Werkstat will look immense on Arctic.
This one a great polisher mate. A lot lot lighter than the Silverline. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/cleanyoucar-ep800-compact-rotary-polisher/cleanyoucar-ep800-compact-rotary-polisher/prod_854.html
