A few (amazing) pictures of the old steed. UR Clio 200.

Yeah pretty common now for them to fail. Quite scary when you see how many people have had the same issue Plus one of my inserts span when tightening it to anything over 70nm... I had a wheel come loose on the A1 on my old dCi and only just managed to get it tight enough to limp home

Yeah 😂 Especially when there's loads of people that have had this issue too haha. Not even s**t branded

No the actual inserts that are pressed into the spacers cracked loose mate There's steel inserts that go into the ali and they just span so you couldn't actually ever get a definitive torque

Get slide on spacers Bolt to hub ones are dogshit and scary when they come loose! My H&R ones failed and the inserts came loose

    Shift light fault

Check your coolant temp sensor and wiring mate The shift light will illuminate at like 6k and it will hit limiter if the car doesn't think it's up to full temperature

    Fuel breather question

Can't say I've noticed it on mine tbh mate. Then again I've got a Ktec stealth with no resonator so as soon as I start the car any small noises like that are drowned out 😂

    Fuel breather question

Leave the cap from the canister plugged in and the car won't notice any difference mate

The thing is with that auction site is that it attracts a certain audience - Old/retired, f**k loads of money and very little sense The sort of people that saw Clio's as they were coming out and now think they're a collectible worth stupid money

    Door bullet mod

If you can find someone breaking a clio campus locally get them as they're already plain black. Failing that just buy some 1.2 ones and sand them, people want far too much money for 2.0 16v ones

Read my post above mate I'm sure mega-carbon did them back in the day, whoever did them they're spot on
  17. Yorkshire Pudding

    Door bullet mod

Yeah I'm sure they take a standard bullet, make a mould of sorts and then skin the carbon fibre into it The lettering on these is way too "standard looking" to look as though they've laid carbon over an original, unless they're using very thin carbon on the face and then bulk the back out to...

    Front hub nut thread spec?

I find drying the car and then spraying it on causes it to gel up and leave streaks so you end up practically buffing the car dry

    M9R Sump Gasket - RTV/Loctite Grey/Dirko/Threebond

Need to replace the sump gasket on my Meg 175 along with a new lower sump pan and wondered what sealer everyone prefers before doing it. I've always used loctite grey but I checked mine the other day and it's all gone off now so might as well give something else a whirl Ta
