    Don't know how important it is, but by the looks of it, it is meant to take axial loads, as in 90 degrees to the belt.

    Thanks, I'm not really sure if they are wider. Didn't notice it when I was working on them. Why do you want to know? If it's for the construction, I just bolted the plates on the Laguna struts to get the correct width.

    Don't know if it's any use to you, but I did the Laguna hub conversion, and modified them to fit the Clio 172 ABS sensors, as the Laguna ones were different.
