    Man cave suggestions...

I know what you mean about the industrial look but colour also plays a big part, the right colour and a roller looks nice. With a sectional go for a standard size. As cut downs leave to much margin for error. Also i prefer silkgrain (smooth) as opposed to woodgrain (textured). Sent from my...

300mm is the box height on a standard 77 slat roller door (from aluguard and priory) i think the compact 55s are roughly 200mm but again there cheaper for a reason. Sent from my SNE-LX1 using Tapatalk

Theres not much in the rollmatic and sectional door prices but for me its sectional everytime provided you have the space because it obviously retracts back into the garage. Alutech are a very good alternative and as you say a little bit cheaper. I prefer the electic operators over hormann...

@VenomUK i buy through the company i work for. Im not a fan of Novoferm as weve had a few bad experiences so only order from them if the customer specifically ask for it. The company i work for is Doorfit, i run the transport side of it so i can arramge delivery to anywhere i want really so...

I agree with @VenomUK im a transport manager for a nationwide garage door firm and also go out and fit after hours. For a decent roller door stay away from crocodile. Alluguard and Priory are decent as they use somfy motors and control boxes which have alarms built in and also a sensitive strip...

Alfa 159 2.4 JTDM Sportwagon TI

Also says on page 1 that it was a 1.9 with an extra cylinder and that he has had to jam the swirl flaps open hence why i thought it maybe of use. (y)

Nice motor. If this is the same engine as the 1.9 cdti in the astra then you dont need to remove the cambelt to do the swirl flaps ;) I had a customer with the 1.9 and if you pin the fuel pump (with the bolts taken out of the fuelpump) it holds it all in place and you can remove the inlet...

Was the slave cylinder replaced aswell as i had an astra in that would just about drive and rattled it knackers off until clutch was pressed. The spring had snapped on the slave cylinder causing the rattle so replaced it all for good measure.
