    XHP Flashtool F30 330D

Thats the thing, the main difference for me was the changes in the torque convertor lockup ... I mean in the ZF6 if feels like it doesnt do it till about 4k rpm sometimes 😂 the ZF8 is something daft like 800rpm so it already feels great.

    XHP Flashtool F30 330D

Haha, sorry, actually had some work to do yesterday 😂 My only experience has been with the e9* platform so far, but for that, its a massive massive change, that is a ruddy old bo now though, the ZF8 in my M135i was light years ahead, so perhaps the law of dimishing returns applies for the F...

Making an offer - 172 Cup

Feel free to sell it to me for £1k then. You beat me to it 😂

    RyG’s Porsche Cayman GT4

Appreciate the kind words @RyG even though for whatever reason, it just wasnt meant to be this time round 😩 As said previously said on here though, we started offering car finance to forum members purely to save them some money over the dealer offerings. So whilst we couldnt do the finance this...

    These days, 5 grand buys an e70 X5 3.0SD ...

Got stance yo. Old, miley X5 in broken down shocker Went to drive it last Sunday and when putting Sophia in her seat (after the cold start black smog cloud had cleared obviously), it became apparent that not only was the passenger left hand side rather a lot lower than it should be, but it...

Baby monitors and other baby stuff

Its useful at the moment as the change bag/wet weather gear/shopping etc can all go on the buggy, also lockdown baby means we havent exactly been travelling around all over the place anyway :ROFLMAO: we were going to get a Babyzen YoYo, but decided that it was just a little flimsy for walks in...

Baby monitors and other baby stuff

We're at 6 months and i cant see any reason why we would need to change what we have for a very long time! Our buggy purchase was based solely around the need to fit in the boot of Sarahs TT with the seats still up, naturally (as with all my big purchases, i created a spreadsheet to compare...

    iPhone 12

I bought an 11 last year for that very reason!! Ummed and ahhed about the Pro for the telephoto lens but just couldnt justify it ... actually ended up getting Sarah an X a couple of months later for comparison. Glad i didnt pay the extra for the Pro tbh, literally never use the telephoto lens on...

    These days, 5 grand buys an e70 X5 3.0SD ...

Boring update on the X5 now i've sold the e91. It works perfectly as a shed - just a shame that after clearing the flat of baby stuff and taking some lovely photos, we havent had a single viewing 😂 Compared to the TT, it is absolutely massive The boot button is now slightly less minging...

    I bought my dream car.

Same. I do love these old ones. Also, they are at the kind of price point that when the engine does sh1t itself, you can have a go at rebuilding it yourself. Or dropping an LS in it. Excellent purchase @Jason_E Barring the interior. f**k my eyes.

    e91 335i. The Unicorn.

So this sold yesterday to the chap that owns Millennium Heroes/Fast Classics/Octane Collection ... he rocked up in a mega mile '56 plate 335d touring that this will apparently replace, but i fully expect it to be back up for sale at eleventy billion pounds in due course. I cant complain...

    iPhone 12

I loved faceid, right up until the point we all started to wear masks all the time  Paying for stuff now requires a pin again, instead of faceid/thumbprint.

Alpina D3 Bi Turbo F31 Touring

Hopefully offer it to Waitey for 5 grand in bits. I will then buy it off him, fix it on my driveway, in the rain, in a week or so, then enjoy it for years to come.

Alpina D3 Bi Turbo F31 Touring

BMW are just as inept at fixing their own cars btw. 10 visits to fix the fan and replace the drivers seat on my M135i would attest to that. The issue is not the cars, its the level of training/mechanical ability of the people doing the work. The conversations i had with the Audi chaps about how...

    £10k RB 182 (Motorsport)

£32k at Mark Fish probs gets you a cambelt service lol. Its where people with more money than sense take their clios. Tbf, it will likely be a very high spec and well done, just not mentioned in the advert

    These days, 5 grand buys an e70 X5 3.0SD ...

This is the way i look at it - I could have spend £9k on one with 100k miles, but thats £4k more and it will lose that £4k in depreciation if i keep it long enough. Plus, if i bought it from a dealer, id lose their margin/£2k driving it off the forecourt. This way, i've spent £5k on it, so i can...

Alpina D3 Bi Turbo F31 Touring

What a shower of f*cking retards. Surely someone, somewhere has some torque specs for some nuts/bolts. Its a diesel engine ffs, not some super special forged flat plane crank build with titanium fasteners and bearings made out of freeze dried unicorns.

X5 has the biggest boot of all of them actually, i checked haha ... its noticeably bigger than the e91. Joggers, hoody and a shoulder covered in baby sick these days 😂 Did the starter motor yesterday on Sarah's TT and Sophia (mini Sir_Dave) was a very good girl watching me "play" ... Untitled...

Yeah, the glowplug controller needs doing on this actually. It might be a concern over winter if it gets really cold, but not something to worry about now.

    These days, 5 grand buys an e70 X5 3.0SD ...

It was on 180k by 9 years old, then 20k in the last 3 as his wives family bus, seems to have been very well looked after as well, pretty much every other sub £10k X5 has Linglong/Goodluck/DitchLong tyres on it, which is an instant turn off for me haha. :ROFLMAO: 😂 You'll never get that back...

    These days, 5 grand buys an e70 X5 3.0SD ...

Another of my "excellent" eBay purchases. Being that we are rapidly outgrowing our 1 bed flat (babies need lots of stuff it would seem), i thought that instead of renting some storage at god nows how much per week, id buy an X5. If bought correctly, the monthly tax/insurance/depreciation would...

Won an auction on eBay, does anyone know the seller and are they legit?

They sell thousands of cars, pretty sure they are straight from bca auction (or similar), so go in with your eyes open. Bargains to be had, but dont expect the car to be perfect, or there to be much in the way of aftersales ... you arent paying fancy showroom money though!!
  29. Sir_Dave

Alpina D3 Bi Turbo F31 Touring

Probs on back order, like the hose that Audi broke putting my RS3 engine back in. After waiting 10 weeks for them to fix that, i then had to wait another month for that damn pipe :ROFLMAO:

    ABS DELETE help

Why would you want to delete the ABS if its a "show only car"? I could understand if it was a track/race car, but show car 🤷‍♂️ Easiest way is to pull off an abs sensor i imagine ...
