    Seat tilt forward wire broke

Anyone know a decent cable to replace it with. Seat won't tilt forward and I've replaced the cable with a bike gear/brake wire a few times over the last year but it always fails, so annoying. Ta.

    Canclip V203 help

I know you've sorted everything now but that bit is what happened to us, I was pulling my hair out effing and jeffing trying to sort it. I sorted in the end by hooking up my laptop to a bigger monitor to see the bottom of the screen!

    P0130 and P0135

I had a P0130 fault code and went and bought a new Bosch Lambda but before I went to fit it I drove it for an hour on the motorway to ironically pick up a 22mm sensor socket only to them find the EML light went off on its own! Mpg seems a tad lower though, was getting 30mpg and it's dropped to...

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Cheers lads, will see how I go tomorrow with it, I'll be sure to give it a thrashing ;) Is the sensor or wiring anywhere near the brake fluid bottle? I only ask because when I spilt some it went down near the manifold and it was smoking a bit down there! I did obviously turn the engine off...

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Here we go, cleared it and it's gone off however not sure if it will stay off. Didn't think so, I did spill some brake fluid from the Reservoir and ran the engine before I noticed, maybe fried something??

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Eezibleed, will try again with it along with a few pumps of the pedal for good measure I've seen it mentioned some people have done it with the engine running and that's sorted it after forever struggling. Will give them a go before the local garage visit with tail between the legs.

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Results are in... and it's a big fat fail (n) Bled it and surprisingly no air bubble out came out, gutted. I shall rebleed them all again starting at the rear, i tried the Renault recommended order and it's hasn't done the job. Pedal feels great when the engines off lol!

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Update. All fitted and was very easy tbh, however the pedal travel is still the same :( Now I've bled 3 wheels however i couldn't do the OSF due to an issue with the locking wheel nut which I've just managed to undo. Question is, could this one side that I've not bled be the cause for the...

    Locking wheel nut slipping

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

OK now they are ordered is it worth getting a flared 11mm spanner or will a bog standard 11mm do the job?

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

@Amos91, good advice on the brake pedal trick (y) Is braided the way to go? I ideally only want to replace the damaged section - caliper to beam join no idea on exactly what it's called.

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

It's clipped to the beam heading over to the nsr wheel. Is this where it unscrews from? .
  21. Leo182

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Ok, I may have got that wrong  just been out to check with my torch! and it seems to run across the rear beam and THEN down towards the front passenger wheel. I couldn't see where it unscrews but it was pitch black!

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Forgot to add, I cant see a obvious place where you can unscrew the line, is it in a silly french place?
  23. Leo182

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Nope, running towards the middle/front of the car.

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

I guess so but had a mot which wasn't that long ago and it wasn't mentioned🙁 How easy are braided ones to fit? Currently looking as I speak!

Spongy brake pedal after front pad change

Cheers for the abuse lads😆 I thought i'd try a different method after someone did it this way, I do normally just take the lid of the reservoir. Schoolboy error. p.s I did intend to bleed them anyway as they are due, dust the old Gunson off.
