Cat delete increase power?

Clio 172 "straight through" catalytic converter.
Hi Guys, On my '01 172 replaced my catalytic converter for a sport cat (cut out the old one and weld on the new) than noticed someone put a straight pipe through the body basically deleted the cat on the old one. How come it never had the engine light on? The ECU is stock no remap. Also the car...- Jani76

"Cheap" turbo kit for a 172!
Hi Guys, Has anyone have experience with these turbo kits? I can make a free flow exhaust and install the kit but what about the ECU? Can the stock ECU custom re-mapped or need an aftermarket one or some people say just piggybacked? I don't want to break any dyno record just have more midrange...- Jani76
