Although I won't ever buy another impreza following the theft of mine last night, in order to gauge the change in my insurance costs I just ran a quite through for an identical replacement.
I paid £670 to insure the scoob this year.
to insure the same car again would now cost me over...
Thought those on 15s would be interested in this http://locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/34/viewthread.php?tid=188466
They aren't new, but at those prices thats a bargain!

Couple of photos of my ph1 that's now knocking on 157k miles. Nothing special, cars dirty and photos only taken using my iPhone, but I liked the result.
No not that you dirty b******s!
I need a long gear knob, bit like the 'dildo' bubble type ones. Problem is I need one that secures with grub screws not a threaded insert. Anyone know where I can get one? Styling if it isn't particularly an issue.
So just as we decide to sell it after trouble free motoring it decides to develop a scary sounding fault! At idle (and presumably under load but ive not tested as dint want to make things worse) it sounds like something is loose and rattling around the engine, Sometimes it's slow and loud...
Apparently the boot of a ph1 is designed to carry 8 x 13 inch wheels wearing 205/60 tires. couldn't have asked for a better fit. Now just need to store them...
Came cross these photos d my old 197 cup earlier from a holiday in north Wales back 2010, god does it bring back fond memories of hustling it along some simply fantastic roads in beautiful scenery. I'd forgotten what a looker she was, definitely need to repeat this holiday in the ph1...
Ordered some new plates from fancy plates on Sunday, they just arrived and gone straight on. Look much better than the old ones.
Have to say though, my god dont they look mean with no front plate!
Couple of pics with the new plates and some beading ;)
Read eddes guide and it says to cut the blue and brown cables from the gr
ey connector and rejoin them. Simples, but I have a grey connector with a black cable and a brown connector with blue and brown cables, so I presume it's the ones to the brown connector but wanted to check before I...
Just found a 1month gold card I was given ages ago but I already have a 3 month subscription that renews quarterly. Can I redeem this card and just get an extra month in there or will this **** up my auto renewal?
If it will **** up the auto renewal anyone want a 1 month code?
Not clio related but someone might be able to help. I have two problems with te brakes on my kit:
1) when the drums are properly fitted not just places on, try seize and won't spin, loosen off the wheel bolts and they move freely.
2) have bled all the brakes first using eazibleed and then...

Just done the upgrade to ios5, made sure I had backed up first and that encryption button was not ticked. Made sure all apps etc were in iTunes and manually backed up photos.
So then did the upgrade, go to restore and it says backup needs a password. Tried all I could think of.
End result...
I've sourced a pinto for my kit car, but it's in Newcastle and I'm in Birmingham, so collection isn't cost effective. Any recommendations on courier to use? Seller has said he will sort putting it on a pallet so I just need to find a nice cheap courier to collect.
