Morning all, Have finally managed to get some new wheels for the car. Picked up a set of 172 wheels from a member (garch) on here a couple of weeks ago. Got a new set of tyres fitted in the week following that and fitted them on Monday. Gave the car a quick 10 min wash this morning...

Spotted a couple on the A52 heading towards Nottingham on Sunday eve at around 7:30. - An arctic 182 with cup packs (I think) - A very low blue valver with what looked like a smoothed boot lid. Anyone?

Afternoon all. Have had a couple of things done since I last posted some pics, mainly have lowered it (not by a massive amount as only did it on springs), and had all the rub strips professionally colourcoded. Gave the car a quick clean this afternoon and went for a drive to get a few pics...

Can anybody give me any pointers for this? Main bit I'm struggling with is where the insert is attached to the bumper at the edges. Have just about managed to do the top and bottom clips but like I said, am having trouble with the middle clips. Any help much appreciated. Cheers, Adam.

Ok, so have unsusseccfully tried to remove the outer casing of the rear lights (tried to stanley knife the sealant and heat it up using a hairdryer...didn't fancy putting them in the oven) so am going to try tinting them. Question is, can I tint the lights using the spray paint/ lacquer I have...

Might seem a wierd question but is it impossible to take the plastic outer casing off the front of the rear lights of my Mk2 Ph2 without damaging anything? It seems like its just glued or sealed on to the main unit. I fancy doing something different with the rear lights rather than just...

Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of the colourcoding I've done over the last few days.... Fairly pleased with the results. Think it looks pretty good from a distance but when you get close up you can see a slight difference in the finish. Big thanks to everyone who's given me advice...

Could anybody tell me how to go abouts changing my exterior door handles of my Mk2 Ph2 please? Am just finishing off colourcoding a spare set and will be transfering them onto the car in the next couple of days. After searching the forums it seems as though this can be a pretty tricky job...

Am really struggling here! 1) Can't seem to remove the standard intake hose, and 2) Have removed the two bolts at the top of the air filter housing, but it won't shift either! Feels like its screwed in at the bottom of the box as well. What am I doing wrong? Apologies if I'm being stupid...

Cleaned it at the weekend and got round to taking some pics earlier, so here you go.... Finally got my silvervisions as well... Fitted silvervisions to rear lights as well. Lowering springs going on hopefully within the next fortnight, and new wheels (probably 172 ph.2 wheels) in...
