(Posted this in the Exterior/Bodywork forum last week to barely any responce, hoping for more here! :) )

My passenger footwell is sopping wet and so is the bulkhead (correct term?) at the back of it running up behind the dash. Part of the windscreen seal directly in front of this area is visibly loose for 10cm or so, so I'm assuming this is the culprit.
Now, how much is this going to cost to fix...
Followed me from when I joined M4 east bound then right into Reading. Who was it?
I saw you coming on the slip road - I would have left you room! no need to bottle it ;)
Recently had new brakes fitted all round, with fronts upgraded to Brembo HC, DS2500, braided lines, dot 4 fluid. Driven 600 miles on them including a bedding in session.
Stopping power once warm is immense so no problems there! Squeal at low speeds as to be expected.
However when I brake to...
Need a couple of new fronts. Last time a local tyre fitter price matched Mytyres. However when I went to do the same this time Mytyres did'nt seem to have any Michelins listed at all :S
Any suggestions chaps?
Stats - 25year old driver, 2yrs NCB, sports cat and exhaust
Currently with Elephant, premium decreased a bit but not as much as I hoped considering I've turned 25 and have another years NCB.
Also I'm going to upgrade the brakes soon at next service (Brembo discs...
Forgive me if this has been asked and answered before, did a brief search to no avail.
Last Sunday my car (52 plate Cup) struggled to start from cold (it was very cold mind! thick frost and -7 according to the cars thermometer.) Was it just the extreme cold that temporarily killed the battery...
Trying to change the oil this morning but have stumbled at the first hurdle! The nut seems to be on too tight. Just broken my socket set trying to undo it
Any idea how I can loosen it?
Every now and again my dash switches off for a second when I'm driving along. It usually does it just after I've started up and have driven for a 10 seconds or so. All the lights turn off and the gauges die too, then it lights up like I've just turned the ignition and goes back to normal...
My drivers side seat belt has stopped pulling back in properly when I un-buckle it. It pulls in a little then hangs too loose. It made a rubbing noise and felt stiff when I put it on the other day - think thats when it broke :S
Please say theres a cheap and easy fix for this!
My clutch is making a loud creaking noise once its hot. You can hear it inside and outside the car. It seems to work fine though, perhaps a little heavy. Been doing it for a month or so now.
I did a quick search and from what I can tell its likely to be a problem with the cable. Can anyone...

Its £15! But that includes 'free' F1 program plus drink and popcorn.

Right, I need to renew this month; the cheaper the better! :)
Car: 172 Cup - mods: sports cat, cat back exhaust system, panel filter (should I even bother declaring the filter??)
Driver - 24 years old, 1 years no claim, driving 15,000 miles per year
I'm currently with Elephant and their...
(Also known as the accessory belt, I believe)
When did everyone have it changed on their RS Clio?
I have been informed by two reliable (I think!) sources that this should be done on the 36k service. But is sometimes not because Renault get confused with non-RS Clio's that do not require the...
I was spectating by the complex at Thruxton when this happened yesterday:

Got to be the most mental thing I've ever seen with my own eyes!!
Did'nt realise at the time how lucky the marshals were not to be hurt.
Two spots on my travels this morning :)
Cup was going the other way to me, was'nt on the ball enough to wave or flash.
182 got a flash - think they smiled back. Or maybe just laughing at me....
Yesterday morning as I drove to work my dash seemed to die for a second. I'd just pulled out of my drive and driven 400m down the road when all the lights went off and dials died then quickly came back on again. I'm not sure but the headlights might have switched off at the same time. The engine...
Both Michelin PE2's:
195/45 R16 80V
195/45 R16 84V
What do the differing 'V' numbers mean? :S
84V is slightly more expensive.
They are both available from My Tyres
I've just bought some Castrol Edge Sport 0W-40 fully synthetic stuff. I consulted a fact sheet in Halfords and it said it was suitable for 2.0 litre Clios.
Is this OK?
(The search function is buggered at the moment)
Spotted twice in the last couple of days. Second time was this morning at about 7:45.
I never get a good enough look to tell if its a 172 or 182. Looks low though. Black paint and dark alloys is a great combo :approve:
Right, I'm planning to do an oil change at the weekend but I've never done one before so could do with some tips. I've read Danlp6's guide (very usefull :approve: ) and worked out all the stuff I need:
10mm deep socket
Jack and axle stands
5 litre bucket/tub
Tool to undo filter
New oil filter...
Spotted last night driving through my stomping ground (Caversham Heights)
Followed it down Highmoor Rd and down into Caversham. Looked and sounded mint
Was tempted to give chase further, but I restrained myself.
