Basically I've been a bit of a tool and dropped a piece of a tool and a 6mm bolt down next to where resistor pack is and it's not fallen out of the bottom yet.
Will it come out on it's own or do I have to go looking for it and is there anything down there it can damage?
Cheers
-Jas.
Hi guys,
After a bit of searching I have put my heater problem down to the resistor pack as I have no air blowing at all (great when your temp guage says it's -2C outside!).
Just wondering if anyone can give me the part number for one? I don't want to turn up at the dealer on Saturday only to...
I had the same problem. Resealed the pump onto the bottle and it was sorted... Also remove the fuse for you headlight washers if you haven't already, will stop the thing leaking out all the fluid without having to remove the bu,ber and change the nozzles/fit a non-return valve.
Quick update:
Just taken the car out for a 10min spin and it seems like it's the clutch pedal squeaking. I've tried releasing the pedal at different speeds while pulling away and it makes a difference to the noise. Is this something I need to be worried about or just chalk it up to a Clio...
Very handy drive - works on my Vista and XP machines fine and also on my 360. Only problem is that mine has just been sent off for repair as it died, but only using to hold music and other bits (copies) for work. WD support is also very good.
Oh, and formatting to NTFS is definietly worth it...
Only noticed it this morning so hopefully a new problem.
When I pull away (forwards or reverse) in a straight line I get a knocking/creaking noise. The best way to describe it is a quiter version of the noise you get when you are holding your car on a hill using the footbrake and let go...
This seems like a common thing in the country now:
Work hard -> get fucked
Buy a nice car -> get fucked
Do nothing with your life -> get everything you ever wanted
But back on topic, this is designed to get people out of cars and onto public transport. Only problem is that public transport is...
Looks fine in ie6... As for filling the gap why not put an image, but I'm not a designer so hopefully someone might have a good suggestion for what image...

I agree with furry_cup in that you could do with spreading the list to the right out a bit more. I also noticed you have it as a paragraph seperated by <br /> tags. Might be better if you did it as an unordered list and use css to replace the list-image with the green tick.
There also seems to...
A quick note on the png thing:
It's only the alpha transparency of a png that won't render correctly on IE6 and below - didn't find this out till about a month ago and since have found that using png's in some cases gives a better, smaller file that a gif/jpg - they are brilliant for gradient...
Had the car up yesterday to have a proper look and it's only about 2mm from one of the wear markers on the outer half of the tyre!
Cheers for the help guys, I think I'll take the roundabouts/corners a bit easier till I get a new one on!
-Jas.
I got a laser alignment done in November but a check is free so it's worth it I suppose!
Does anyone one know at which point shoulder wear becomes illegal tread depth?
-Jas.
I noticed this morning that my passenger side front tyre is flat on the outside shoulder. It's been on the car for about 13 months/15,000 miles and the rest of the tyre has loads of tread left. The driver's side front is fine.
Is this just a case of my taking roundabouts too fast or could...
It's a Belkin F5D6050 - my house mate got it years ago...
I bought a USB Linksys last night - plug and play wireless goodness :)
Cheers for the help though!

Stockbroker: I've got an old Beklin USB one at the moment but it's not on the official MS list and at the moment Vista thinks it's a USB modem so won't let me add a WEP key to hit my router...
Gareth: I've checked out the official MS lists and I'm going to either get a Linksys or another...
Just upgraded (if you can call it that) to Vista and my old wireless adpater isn't supported so am going to buy a new one tonight.
The choices are between an internal one and a external one I can move about a bit. The antenna for the internal will end up sitting behind my case (and therfore...
I'm swaying towards the Samsung but can't ignore the price difference. Will have a look at them side by side in the shop and make a choice then I guess.
DynamicD: Don't really want to go for a 1080p as it's only the 360 that can support it, plus 46" won't fit on my TV bench with the speakers too!
Not realy a brand snob tbh. My current TV and PC monitor are Samsung and my parents have a 32" Tosh about a year old. Hooked up my Xbox360 and Gamcube to the Tosh when I lived with my parents at it looked alright, just SD TV looks a bit fuzzy... Can't fault my Samsung either - it's just too...
It's Jan sales time and I think that it's time for a new TV!
I've narrowed down the decision to between a Toshiba 32C3030D and a Samsung 32" R88. I've read a few reviews and the Samsung seems to be better, but on reading the specs there is very little difference between them.
Has anyone got...
Have you looked at this one: http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=362131&tab=specification? You;ll need to pick up a seprate DVD player but can get decent HDMI ones fairly cheap now.
