I was taking a trip down memory lane today & recalled a RB 182 I sold on 13k miles
It was on Ebay from a vauxhall main dealer - very strange place to advertise. It came in as a PX & offered out at just £4500.
I managed to secure it for just £4k.
It was MINT.
I thought id have a check...
So its been a long while since I owned a car- In the last 9 years ive had
LY V6
Flamer 172
Od Ph1 172
Phase 1 Race car
Now a GW 200
** Just waiting for Sprint spoiler to arrive **
Spec is as follows -
FF200 Just ticked 25k
Recaros
Speedlines
Projectors
Cup pack
Carbon pack
Bluetooth...
so i have purchased this to change the V6 calipers ( they are horrible yellow ATM )
It says rub the brakes down with 240/360 ( assume thats wet & dry ) to remove rust & built up brake dust
Any tips for me also
Would people carry on rubbing them down
Ie

3000 to get a great smooth...
So my disks are pretty much toast
They are the 330mm ones with alloy bells - the same ones on the reyland website @ £550 -
Any other options or places that sell them before I buy replacements from reyland....

so that's 10k for
1 seat.
A coilover kit
A/C delete.
A cage.
What is the best R888 size for the standard Phase 1 OZ F1 wheel-
Is there any other tyre that competes with this in the dry- Would a pilot sport be as good grip wise in the dry?
thanks
Steve
I know the 182 Cup shocks wont fit the 182 non cup pack cars because of the bolt spacing-
However what about springs-
will any cooksport etc lowering spring fit the front of a non cup pack car-
Also will a 172 cooksport fit a non cup pack 182-
cheers
steve
Well things have ticked along nicely on the car now-
* New windscreen ( amazing difference)
* Mark Fish Service
* New RS Mats
* Headlight refurb ( first one was 9/10) now they are 10/10.
* Shi*ty Paint protection removed from Wings- Takes 90 min per corner. Still on the nose but will be removed...
So we had a box that was leaking from the casing, & a smidge from the selector seal -
can the box be split & sealed by agency without a full rebuild -
thinking in terms of cost-...
So customer would like it reversed from blanked to standard-
If the motor is missing-
I take it its a case of
Source motor, Source wiper blade- Connect to loom?
Thanks in avdance.
