Came home tonight and the family computer has "broken" and im trying to sort it.
Basically turn the machine on and it runs the boot system as usual up till the windows splash screen would come on at this point it says to insert systm disk and press enter.
we were never supplied any OS software...
I'll try and keep it short,
New lump F7R 700 into 16v shell (chassis C57D L reg ph1)
looms are different, not tried starting yet but pretty obvious it isnt going to work.
Old loom isnt an option, its dead. If it comes to it i will get a new one but I want to try to bodge it first...
My k850i (fancy cybershot one) has recently lost all ability to text, sending always fails and wont allow you to access inbox, sentbox etc just dispalys "operation failed" have rang o2 and they say have to return it and they cant send a repalcement fone in the meantime.

I have a 1.2 16v, completely standard. Its an "exreme 2" (with the LOVELY red interior)
May have to sell up in the next few months, know i am not going to get what i pay for it but it will help.
At the time of sale it will have; just less than a years MOT, FSH (with recent service) 6 months...

Am looking for pictures that show me where the TDC sensor, Throttle Body and ECU cover all are.

Bought me a gearbox but where the roll pin should go through there is what looks like metal that has been melted and set (like solder or something)
Have tried everything, smashing drilling crying lol.

Priced up a rocker gasket today at my local motor factors and i was asked how many oil holes it had. I said there wasnt 2 types and he insisted there was, how do i know which one i am looking for?

What is the difference between valver and willy looms?
Have a new engine and have been told to use the 16v loom but its a bit tatty and TBH i CBA to swap them over.
Have heard of cars not running when using a different looms and dont want to risk this, also have a clifford will this be cut...
My Laptop wont load properly, will boot and go to desktop but when it gets there it wont open any programs and the HDD light is constanly on.
Have booted in safe mode and ran 2 virus skans (differnt software) adawar,malaware and spyware scans.

Would it be possible to retro-fit this to a valver?
If so what would i need and what work would i need to do?
Sometimes the 1.2 wont start in the morning.
All lights are correct, fuel pump primes engine turns over but doesnt fire.
Has done it a few times and have found that if i bump it it starts.
Did it the other day and had the emmisions light on all the way to work.
just pissing me off, bought it...
Is this the whole dogbone or just the bushes?
Would i get the same gain from the 19 mount from GSF as i would from Renault? (sorry dont know what makes them better )

Am havinc the engine out tomorrow to do my clutch and the cam blet is over due, is this something i can do myself whilst it is out? Will i need any special tools because i was under the impression i would need something to lock the camshafts but the trusty Haynes says nothing.

Am hoisting the engine from the bay soon and have been told i will need to knock out the driveshaft roll pins to acheive this.
Will i need to replace these with new items when i refit the engine? or will i get away with reffiting the old ones for a week or so?

Just looking at what to go for, is it worth getting an up rated one? (car is standard so presume not) and how much is the renault oe one? (cant find one in the GSF listings)
