Have a bit of a problem im a bit puzzled by, i think Its one of two things i believe faulty disks or faulty pads. covered about 500 miles since fitted! Today just to make sure id not been a mongy, i pulled the pads out, cleaned it all up, caliper sliders are all free, handbrakes good, pistons...

Just had a new (renault supplied) gearbox fitted into my 182 with a new clutch. I expect the gears will probrably be a bit stiff for the first thousand miles or so? I will add i can get every gear! From cold 1st is easy to get, 2nds rather stiff, 3rd has free'd off and now goes in smooth once...

Providing both are SMI racks are they the same pipe for 182 & 172s? They lookvery similar Ive eliminated 172 cup ones, ive seen they are nothing alike like.

Where do you guys get them from? I've seen big red do a few seals for £25 I will shortly have a spare set of calipers to refurb, Which i'd like to reseal, fit new nipples and fit new sliders. I rang Renault and they quoted me over £100 for all the bits, I'm waiting on a response from Wests...

I got the dreaded rings the other week, Its coming up with an E74 error and 1 red ring so MS arent able to fix it for free :( bit s**t considering its only a year and half old and doesnt get used much, anyways. Someone will have had it, I'm going to attempt to fix it myself rather than shell...

Ive a backup DVD which i cant access anymore the disk is mint and not a mark on it, It used to read now doesnt anymore and if the disks in the drive on boot the computer fails to Boot up. Anyone know how i can get it up? Doesnt work in either drive :S

Anyone else noticed a P clip on their main Coolant hose that comes off the front of the block to the bottom of the radiator, Its attatched to the subframe and i'm assuming is to stabalise it? Mine broke anyway, Is it meant to be there, I dont think its needed, Correct?

How the hell are you meant to do it? I've just took a gander because mines gone and got wet through and bloody cold in the process, I got as far as removing the inlet and a heatshield bolt lol I'm assuming you get at it from the top? What do i need to remove to get at it and remove it? Thanks
