My car all of a sudden won't rev past 4k and what i think is the coil light on the dash has come on.. Any ideas? Its only just had a new coil fitted too when i had the head gasket done, 2003 1.2 16v if that's any help?

the battery in my key fob is very low, not sure if this has anything to do with it but sometimes when i go to start the car the red light on the dash flashed and the car wont start, and some times it turns over for about a second or two then stops.. if i leave it for a bit then it starts fine...

my mate Put the battery terminals on wrong way now i got no headlights or fullbeam ..blew no fuses nd relays under the bonnet seem to be fine as we've had the lights working since but didnt last for long any help would be great thanks

After breaking my 172 cup i still have the springs left and i have now bought another 172 and im thinking is it worth it to put the cup springs on my new 172 or will there be hardly any difference at all?

Ordered some 3M carbon wrap from ebay to have a go at covering some dash parts and it turned out much better than i thought Also done the other small dash strip and the steering wheel insert Not bad for a tenner i think :P

as above really, picked up some 15" pro race 1.2s for my 172 last nite and im curious how 15s would look on a sport lowered 40mm.. cheers

Just curious because i only have one key for my car but what would I have to do if i lost my only key to the car? I assume i would need to get it to renault somehow and have all the locks changed and immobiliser changed etc? Any ideas how much that would cost?

bought a clio sport today and the outside temprature was saying its 30 dagrees which is obviously way out lol any ideas why its like that? Im guessing the temprature sensor on the wind mirror is fucked?

buying annother 172 today hopefully but it only has one key with it, so im just curious how much renault will charge for a spare key?

I need a new rubber gaiter on my steering rack and i just phoned renault and they said i need to know the make of the rack and and diameter etc so does anyone know the part number or anywhere i can get one from or the make and diameter? car is a 2002 172 cup cheers

what do you use to remove the scratches and get your headlights looking good again?

is there a guide on here for changing it as i need to do mine today ? also iv tried search but cant find any thing lol

need to remove a side skirt to take a wing off so how easy are these to remove with out breaking anything lol ?

basically these came with my car i bought last nite and the bloke said they were front springs but the clearly look like rear springs but they are a bit wierd because in the middle the go in a bit as you can proberly see any ideas?

on my 172 cup it seems as though the clutch needs adjusting slightly as it grinds when going into reverse sometimes and when going into gear slightly.. it seems as if when i push the pedal all the way down its not putting the clutch apart far enough and needs a very fine altering? any ideas?

is there any way you can make that noise stop when you dont have your seat belt on?

if i had a clio 172 cup which obviously doesnt come with xenon projector head lights and i bought the headlights and xenons and everything, would they all connect up or would anything need to be modified?

Do 172 cups come with the trip computre that tell you your mpg and range etc?

Just curious if the 172 cup has a different gearbox design or does it still have a common falt of the circlip snapping?

i remember seeing a tow bar fitted to a clio 172 cup but every time i look for a tow bar it says it will not fit a 172/182.. anybody know why they will not fit and if a normal tow bar will fit a cup but not a normal 172? cheers

mine went last nite but the circlip isnt damaged but the spacer was slightly but iv put it all back together now and it drives but because the spacer is slightly damaged does this mean that it is going to pop out again?

where by do i put the oil in my gearbox to top it up?
