I've been having a few issues with the clio of late. Mainly overheating. Firstly it was an issue with the stat, so that was changed, and replaced with a new renault stat which was also duff. So i've now replaced it with a new one (checked it in a pan first) and i'm still getting issues. I have...
I'm selling my Nikon gear as i've upgraded. This is the link to the D7000, but there are a few lenses and filters if anyone is interested. If the item hasn't been bid on i'm open to offers.

I've been contemplating this for a while now and when Nikon brought out the more affordable D600 it is pushing me further into buying one. Currently my kit consist of;
D7000 with MB-D11 Vertical grip
Nikkor DX 35mm f1.8
Nikkor DX 12-24mm f4
Nikkor 28-70mm f2.8
Nikkor 70-300mm Telephoto
The...
I changed the coolant and thermostat the other day. Now the needle reaches middle sort of. The heaters are fine, and the level looks ok, but i've a suspicion that I might have an air pocket somewhere as the needle moves from middle to one bar below middle consistantly. Also, i've noticed that...
I've been trying to get my head around this for a while now, but it keeps puzzling me. Basically my pedal height is practically in line with the brake pedal which means heal toe is tricky, plus when braking you catch the pedal. It's on cable throttle, so what options do I have? Ideally I'd like...
.....change the thermostat without losing loads of coolant? It's only just been changed really, so seems silly to flush it. Can you just syphon it out of the expansion tank and from any parts above the level of the stat and put it back once finished?
Also, does it matter if you mix coolants? I...
Doesn anyone know if there is a clio 2 which has this panel with nothing on? I'm thinking about fitting a oil pressure gauge here, so need a blank panel to stick a hole in :)
The car has been having issues of late. It won't fire, unless you either rock it in gear (although this isn't enough now), or bump it. If it doesn't fire while bump starting, I can then turn the key and it cranks. So I figure it must be the starter. Spent yesterday removing it (fun job :(), but...
Hi guys,
I'm looking at fitting one of these in the next week as the EC1 has automapping via wideband. Basically my lambda is shot, and the car is currently running on closed loop fuel control (setup on dyno). However it is definately not fuelling correctly at low revs, so instead of getting...
I'm selling a few bits on ebay. Some new some used (excellent condition). If the items haven't been bid on I can remove and sell via here if anyone want the items.

As above really. Just looking at some new gear and it's one of the cheapest places around.
Chat and Vision is another one, but there are shed loads of bad reviews on that one.
Currently i've got a D40 with nikkor 18-200 VR lense. The main reason for buying this was for motorsport work (couldn't afford the 70-300mm at the time), but i'm not getting enough time for this use. The main time i'm using the camera now is for family/friend occassions (weddings/birthdays etc)...
Hi all,
I'm after something to loosen crap from the car on the lower sections prior to washing, also if it removes oil, bugs etc also that would be a bonus. I'm considering Megs Super Degreaser as i'm after something in bulk that can be diluted to stretch it out longer. Plus I can put it into...
Well it's basically fucked. It thinks it's permanently pressed down, so when it loses battery and I plug it in to turn it on, it tells me to plug it into itunes. If I turn it on without it being plugged in, voice control activates. I've taken it to bits and tired messing with the connections...
My rain sensor attachment keeps coming away and the wipers don't work on auto. I've tried apoxy glue, but that's not working great. I've seen that halfords sell a rear view mirror glue, but there are mixed reviews about it. Any one got any tricks of the trade :)
Anyone who was at Oulton might have noticed my splitter got broken on the grass while parking. It broke into 4 pieces. The brakes were reasonably clean, so I used some Epoxy glue to stick all piece back together. (apologies, pics are naff as I was doing it in the loft :))
I was a bit...
My bro has a service due on his 56plate mk3 dci. It's on 74k. What's due?
I rang two dealers, 1 said all fluids and filters, the other said timing belt. The first one said belts were 6years or 96k. Please can someone clear this up. The service book tells you nothing.
I've been taking a few panning shots of late, but i'm struggling to get the camera to focus. Kit wise, i'm using a D40 :o with a nikkor 18-200mm lens I run the camera on AF-C and the lense has VR enabled, with focus set to auto/manual. The problem i'm having is when you try to focus on the...
I had my windscreen changed a while back, and the auto wipers don't work. It looks like it's due to the plastic surround that holds everything in place is coming away, and not pushing the sensor onto the glass properly. What would be go to bond plastic to glass?
Noticed my ns front shock has started leaking. Handling still feels ok. Do I need to change it asap, or just wait to see it get worse. What is the worst that could happen? Seized up?
Basically, running ds2500/hc/braided lines/dot4 super. On track there are vibrating loads under heavy braking which makes me think they are over heating. They don't provide much confidence. Tried lifting off early and braking less harshly, but no change. This was after about 5 laps. Not running...
A few of use off here were at Oulton on Wednesday. I was a really good day, weather held off for most of it, but when the rain did arrive, the clio's shined and chased down most things. Excuse some of the panning shots, i'm still learning  Not had chance to edit them, so thought i'd just...
Hi guys,
I've currently got my spare 182 engine in bit in the shed, but the cams need to come out. Currently the inlet cam and dephaser are still attached to the rocker cover, but seperated from the head.
Any tips on how to remove the pulley? I know usually in situ you need locking tool etc...
I've had a few battery issues of late. All sorted now, but the car now beeps once when you unlock it, and twice when you lock it. This is all the time. Any fix?
Anyone know this? My mates just got one, but it doesn't fit the ph2 plenum. Didn't realise there was a size difference, which makes me think it's the wrong one.
Thanks in advance :)
