Some of you may be interested to know that the original Clio Trophy dampers have now been superceded with dampers as used by the Twingo R1 rally car. These dampers are better built than the originals and provide the same level of damping as before. Renault dealerships are now offering these...
Does anyone know whether 182 Cup dampers will fit a Trophy? Reason I ask is that my nearside front damper has a loose remote reservoir and has leaked oil and is therefore shot. My car has done only 31000 miles. I've only a few days left of my warranty (end of Aug, great timing!!) and will try to...
First I apologise for posting in this forum instead of "other marques" as I don't have the previleges.
I've not posted on here for a while, not since I sold my Clio172 back in 2004 and I'm thinking of coming back to the Clio fold! I understand that I may not get a completely unbiased...

Cheers

Temp = 8 degs C
Road conditions = Dry
Fuel = Optimax (full...
For those whove had their Clios modded with superchip/unichip etc, have you noticed a significant change in fuel consumption? Im debating as to whether to go for an ECU upgrade but if it means poor economy for little gain, I dont think Ill go for it.
Currently I get about 250 miles from a...

At the moment it seems that ClioSport seems to have been invaded by drivers of other cars. Although this is a Forum for Clio owners, its good to see posts from owners of different cars. We have cars ranging from Honda CTRs, Audi S3s, Ford Mondeos, Saxos, XR2s to name a but a few and most if...
