PH1 airbox's...
Does anyone know if the clips can still be sourced for them, would be handy if they are available still, or even cross matched from a different item.
I don't really want to use cable ties.

Would I be correct in thinking the coil pack mounting bracket that goes with the RS2 inlet is different between the 172 and 182 engine?
i only ask as I can not for the life of me get all of the brackets holes to line with anything on the engine, (182 Trophy for reference!)
Would anyone happen to know what the torque setting should be for ARP flywheel bolts, if it makes any difference this is also with a Billet flywheel.
i know standard is 55nm, but it would be nice to confirm what they should be before I bolt the box up to the engine.

Silver 172, looks like it has anthracite standard wheels and slightly lowered.
looks a tidy example from what I can see.
i won't say the exact location other than, it's been parked outside my house the past couple of days.

i know there are the usual 421's, 428's and 438's etc, along with some now using the 197 profiles, but is there anything out there a bit more lairy, namely for a high compression engine that's purely for track use?
im happy to consider solid lifters if...
Am I right in thinking that a Dephaser doesn't actually fail as such, but just becomes extremely noisy when they start to suffer?
also, if one is becoming noisy and tired, can it cause issues with oil pressure?
oil light is flickering on/off on a few occasions, aswell as the pressure gauge...
a quick one for those that own a ph1 172, can you disarm the passenger side airbag by means of a key switch in the same manor you can on the ph2 172/182's?

I currently have the whiteline ARB, but in motion of having the PMS rear spherical bearing and bracing kits fitted.
im in two minds as to wether or not keep the ARB aswell?

A bit random, but can you turn off the passenger airbag in a 197 the same as you can with a 1*2?
i don't mean via clip, but with the key the same as a 1*2 has a switch on the passenger door panel.

Having had many a big power Cossie engine for trackday use, one of the first things that's often considered is a baffle plate within the sump to help with oil surge and oil starvation.
is there anything available for the clio engines, even big winged sumps maybe?
or do these engines not require...
Bit of a pickle of a problem yesterday evening with the Trackday Trophy.
It was running perfectly fine, drove it out of the unit so I could pull all of my tools and shelving apart for a big tidy up and throw away what wasn't needed, reversed back in a few hours later all with no dramas atall...
Namely, the airbag and ABS warning lights...
are these independent bulbs, or a LED that can be removed atall?
im not worried about legal implications, I just want to extinguish them from always being alight on the track car.
