I need some wheel bolts that are 10mm longer than the standard ones on a MK1 172. I thought it would be easy to get hold of such bolts.....but apparently not. Ive tried loads of places and they all tut and mutter to themselves and dig out boxes of bolts, but no one can find what im looking for...

I was starting to get the 4k rattle so Ive now replaced the whole standard exhaust system with a stainless Devil de-cat pipe and a stainless steel system. This fixed it for a few hundred miles, but....... :cry: its back again. So.....is there really no known fix for it?

Okay.... a) how do I get the cover off the speakers in the front?! Does it unclip, or do I need to take off the whole panel? b) is it just a case of pull off the old clips and push them onto the new speakers, or is it not that easy?

Well, the mk1 172 has finally started making a loud banging noise under 1st gear acceleration. The mk2 172 always did it, but its only just started on the mk1. Is this a sign of a broken engine mount? Where can I buy some new ones, how much and how much to fit? Cheers!

Ive read somewhere on here that the 172 MK1 throttle body inlet is 72mm. If any point in the air intake system is less than 72mm, will this restrict the engine, and if so, to what degree?
