About to guy some coilovers for my Cup but I want the rear to be properly low - obviously the front will be lower but it seems so many coilover kits allow enormous lowering at the front and not at the back?
Which coilover kit gives the best scope for lowering? My old KWs could...
Had cool day, my race number was S188, ran 14.062 at 97.9, best run of the day, but didnt run above 14.5 on any run, except one freak run where I beat another Cup but reckoned I did 16.something.

Can anyone whos got Eibachs on their 172s post the piccies. I am assuming that they are all the -5 at back and - 15mm at front. The Eibach website does not quote this spring being available so where have the figures come from?
I can remember when the Clio lot were battling it out on the Evo forum aginst the 306 guys. I decided then to set up that Yahoo group to let the new Clio guys talk without being part of a dedicated club, we then switched to Clio Sport which is cool.

Where can i get them from searched local scrappers and salvage yards, want some 1.2 or summat for my Cup, bit of a joke, Renault are just too expensive!!
Viper is fitted with Hill Power Silicone Hose Kit from Inlet Maniflod to Viper, and then heavy duty pipe work through to Renault Sport Clio Cup Race Car Brake Duct in fog light replacement pipe, feels punchier and oh yes has turned my Clio into a motorbike!! Fantastic.

Cant beleive this but when I am pressing on in my Cup and I mean pressing on it sounds like I am getting the rear wheels to rub against the arches, the car is standard for fugs sake, Left hander right back rubs and vice versa, has anybody else had this problem!! Its madness....
Dad got new Renault price range today at work, you can now get a Cup with Aircon, £700 more, not that i would have had it but, shame for those who would. Tim O

Has anybody lowered there Cups yet, and what springs have they used, the only concern I have is that nearly all the lowering springs are designed for the Mk1 or Mk2 172 and not the Cup, any ideas?
First thing to say was that the surface was terrible when I first arrived, like ice, not wet but crap, they apologised and said it was something to do with the glue they put on the surface and water from last night. Anyway... Cup 2000 miles, R Sport ECU, 15" 195 50 15...
Going down to Pod on Sunday, leaving Leeds about 6-6.30 ish, going with 106gti and meeting mate there in E30 (200bhp), other cup going as well I think, first outing in the cup, should be interesting, no traction control though, yet!! Tim O
