    Is the 172 inlet plenum (throttle section) different to a 182 inlet plenum?

    For a friend... A mate of mine has swapped the engines over, 182 engine into a Ph2 172 car. Everything is complete apart from the inlet manifold... As the thread asks, are the above different?

    My Ph1 172's running issues...radiator or an unlikely headgasket...

    Well my wife uses the car more than me and yesterday she was waffling on about how much the car was cutting out and idling all over the place! I just told her to get on with it...until I drove it today... I picked up my daughter, on the way back the engine temp warning light and the stop light...

    Hi! I have started another newbie thread somewhere but that boring so I thought I'd do another! I own a silver Ph1 172 that is 100% oe...well she is currently wearing my white clio willy wheels and is slightly lowered on eibach schprings :rasp:...shes done 47k, owned her coming up to 2 years...

    Latest cambelt/service prices...

    I've owned my 99% oe car for coming up to 2 years now...its done 16k from the 31k I bought it at including over 60 sqms at Pod, numerous long journeys along with everyday abuse :cool: I need to do the belts as well as the dephaser pulley, I'm not enjoying the diesel type rattle I've endured...
