On my way to work, driving down a long straight road some bloke in a Van decided to pull out of a side street on my left without looking. Slammed on the brakes (f**king good job I had those sorted last week!!) and pulled the car sideways and managed to avoid hitting the front of his van by 5mm...

Any ideas why I cant see the outside temperature display in my Williams? Its fine when the lights are switched on, but when driving in the day, I cant see the temp displayed? :(

Mine is broken. Well, it never goes over 3k. I have had to dash out and messed with the dials, they move very freely. The car itself is fine, running it on a rolling road gives correct rev readings... so just wondered where the counter gets its reading from? Anyone? Thanks

Help! Im replacing the ignition barrel in my clio so all the locks match (had to replace the boot lock) but I cant get the old one out?! Ive taken the cowling off and disconnected the 2 plugs, and taken the torx bolt out from the side of the barrel... now what? Its not in my Haynes book and...

Anyone help on this? I can set off home from work - car is fine, then all of a sudden the revs will stick at 1.5 - 2.5k and just rev as I sit in standing traffic or at the traffic lights. People look at me and give me dirty looks, but i cant do a thing! Ive tried pressing the accelerator...

Why would a subwoofer need to be re-coned ? My friend bought a second hand Kicker square solo-baric 15" and when it came to fitting (by a shop) they said it didnt work - the coils were fine but it needed re-coning What does this mean? He was quoted £150 to recone it too!
