Having knocked up one of those pixels sites a few weeks back (basing it on the Million Dollar Home Page) I thought I would try something a bit different and populate the space with Amazon pixels.

Has anyone noticed a difference in price they got for their Clio when they came to sell it via trade or private?
E.g. did the dealer / individual offer you less money because it wasnt sourced from a UK dealer?
If price was different what were the reasons given?
Thanks
Ive just hit 59,000 miles in the 172 having owned the Car for around 28 months. Car has been pretty reliable in the whole.
Coming back down the M1 tonight and going up a slight gradient the car starts to misfire and lose power. I carried on my journey and for the next couple of hours i kept...
Drove under a bridge today which had one of these Speed Camera Vans on the top. Also further up the road in another County was another one parked in a lay by at 45 degrees to the road.
How do they work? Does a flash go off if you are speeding and are they forward or rear working? Do they use a...
Ok Peeps,
Ive written a chat room for ClioSport forum users and it is hosted on this site.
This is the first cut and therefore it is Basic in the feature list.
Id like you to give it a go to see how it performs and to find out if there are any major bugs with it.
A couple of things...

Being rather bored (run out of credits on mid nite challenge) I thought id put this to you all. If you had a budget of £1000 what mods. would you do to the car to increase BHP/TON - please bear in mind that you would be expected to use this car for everyday driving such as commuting and it would...

Had the fortune of racing one of these on a private road.
They are quick - not quite as quick as the 172 but very very close. I decided that I would follow and had too back off twice from getting close to him. 1st Time was top end of 3rd and then top end of 4th. Was rather frustrating really...
Ive now taken the decat pipe to the next level on my 172 - fooling the ECU into thinking that the rear lambda sensor (downstream) is working and I have a cat fitted to the car !
The rear lambda sensor has been removed and the 2nd hole in the decat pipe plugged. A resistor has been placed...
Found a company that do software which runs on a Laptop and allows you to access the onboard diagnostics. Does everything that the Dealer can do.

My car has two lambda sensors.
One goes before the cat and the other goes after the cat.
I had a devil decat pipe fitted in August 2002.
The Cat Warning light had only ever come on twice and both times were when the car was started from cold and I reved the engine hard at standstill...
This one sheds much light on the RamAir debate. Its not specifically aimed at cars but the same principles apply !
It gives some flesh on bones as to why airboxes seem to give good results - e.g. Viper/BMC/etc...
Also does anyone know how they adjust fueling at Wide Open Throttle. Ive been told that it is not possible so if it is am very interested in how it is done.

Ive been thinking over the last couple of weeks whether the 172 inlet manifold ports match those of the 16v/Williams head. I know that the inlet manifold is a good design and maybe with the 172 manifold and throttle body gains could be had?
Does anyone know if the ports match up? Would the...
Its out of a damaged car that had fire damage.
It all looks OK, casing is all sooty @ the moment should clean off.
Does anyone know what sort of temperature would be required to damage the manifold. I think it is made from Alluminium. Dont want to do work on it to find out that it is too...

One of my mates has a Lancia Delta HF Turbo (Martini special edition - twin head lights) that he is rebuilding. Apparently it has an Integrale Turbo and custom manifold/exhaust and runs 160 bhp with no other mods. The standard fuel injected cars were 140 bhp.
Opinions please on the HF turbo...

Bummer scenario.
Popped down renault dealer @ lunch to get some parts, on the way back I fill up with a full tank of petrol then drive back to work (2 minutes) and park the car up front first, surrounded by hedges in a little bay. Car is on a slight gradient, front being higher than rear...
