    Electric Water Pumps

Has anybody used one of these with the F4R ? I've been reading into them recently and I'm curious if they are actually effective, the topic seems to divide opinion and there's not much fact out there in regards to results. Davis Craig make a unit that's 80 L/min at 13V DC, it also draws 7.5A...

Hiya, Looking for some advice from people who've done stripped track cars, specifically on the PH1. I took my PH1 off the road some 18 months ago with the intention of doing the usual track spec conversion, after reassembling the car this past week I've found the car to not start. From what...

    Twingo oil capacity

Appreciate I'm out on a limb here but does anybody know the engine oil capacity for a 2014 999cc twingo (mk3) ? I've been traversing the interwebs for a reliable source and yet to find one. Apparently these engines are sensitive to overfilling with them being at a strange angle. Cheers

    Retired the PH1 Workhorse

After owning a PH1 172 for nearly 4 years and covering many miles, the old dog has finally been retired after just ticking over 120,000 miles. I wanted something "fast" and special and after making a list of possible contenders, it came down to the Fiesta ST and the Trophy. For me the ST just...

What are people using for a Mitt at the moment ? I've had the sheepskin Mitt for around a year and the thing is just falling apart, I wouldn't say it's used that often either (https://www.shopnshine.co.uk/sheepskin-wash-mitt?___SID=U#details) Cheers

Or more affectionately known as the over Rev light that was fitted to the W and X ref PH1's. What part of the car produces this feature ? I thought perhaps the ECU but I moved my ECU from my old W reg (which had the light) to my current Y reg PH1 and the light does not work (Could be there's no...

    Advice Needed

Hiya, Yesterday I took the ph1 to the track for the first time (First time I've done a track day and first time for the car since being rebuilt) at teeside autodrome, quite a tight track with lots of twisty stuff. Had a great time and the car was pretty much faultless with the exception of a...

    Rear Calliper Handbrake Arm

Hiya, Had an issue on the weekend where the handbrake arm on the rear calliper (Where the handbrake cable hooks onto) snapped, are these removable ? I'm looking to buy a spare calliper and swap the arm over. I've just bled the rear callipers is all and I'd like to avoid removing it if I can.

    Odd PH1 issue

Hiya, Bit of a strange one here, I bought a lovely PH1 a few months ago that I've been rebuilding, when I bought it I noticed I had to hold the fob button to start the car (I believe this is an immobiliser override) after inspecting under the bonnet it appears there is a relay override in...

    Piston Ring's

Hi all, I'm in the process of rebuilding my F4R and I've just measured the compression ring squared up to the block. It's came out as 0.305mm, which to my understanding is past the 0.15 - 0.25 tolerance. Where is best to get a hold of a set of these and are they expensive ? I don't really want...

    I think this needs changing...

After the AA guy diagnosed the PH1 with a faulty ECU and or Loom, I replaced them and it still didn't start. So I started to dig and thought I would check what I assumed was the issue when it happened and what do you know. Slipped timing and bent valves sounds about right. New engine time :p
