Hi all,
What is the name of the part with the red arrows pointing to it?
Also, I started to undo the nut that is circled, but when it got near the top the age and condition of the thread/bolt has caused it to get stuck, meaning that no matter whether I try to tighten it back up or get it off...
Hi all, I will be selling my 182 in about 3-4 months as I'm moving to Canada in March (yay!). I have a few things that I need advice on though as I don't really know what the best thing for me to do is:
- I currently have KTR coilovers, however where I haven't cleaned them enough they appear to...
Drove past you and traded a little wave this morning.
Your car looked and sounded awesome by the way, even though we weren't passing quickly. I want a RB now :(
You went into Sainsbury's on St. John's Road. About 30 seconds before you drove past my girlfriend and I as we tried to stroke a cat up on a fence. I did see you in Sainsbury's looking at some salad, but I didn't ask if you were on CS in case you thought I was mental :)
Hi all,
For the life of me I cannot work out which way I need to adjust the spring platform on the front of my KTEC coilovers to raise it. I've done it so many times and for some reason it's just gone!
Do I take the platforms down to lower and up to raise? Or vice versa?
Thanks
Black 182 passing each other on St. John's Road, we kind of half waved at each other I think.
Blue 200 in the BP petrol station, there was an awkward look at each other as you drove off, I was at the till looking outside. I was parked next to you.
Dark blue 172, I left you out onto St. John's...
Only kidding, I did them silver.
Before (brake disc looks like that because I'd just washed the car)
They look quite silver here, they were worse in person:
After:
I also sorted my headlights out, didn't quite get a perfect finish because I got lazy with the sanding, it does look...
I was visiting my girlfriend's Mum (with her, obviously) from London, took a walk to the local shops and saw this parked up with a CF bonnet. Anyone on here?
Hi all,
I'm about to purchase some spacers, these ones: http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_details.php?id=3247&manufacturer=FK&category=Wheel
At the front of my car there is about 19mm on each side gap from the widest part of the top of the wheel/tyre, therefore a total track width gap of...
Hi all,
Firstly, what is this bit actually called? The platform thing that spins, and also the thing it spins on:
Secondly, mine are completely stuck because the allen key hole bit is completely rounded off (not sure if that's the right terminology), which means I cannot untighten it, so if...
I followed the 172 (with CS sticker) through the tunnel, then saw the 200 shortly after. At one point the 172 was in the outside lane ahead, with the 200 in the middle and me on the inside together :)
Hi all,
I have a DAS-6 Pro on it's way, which is coming with:
- Chemical Guys - White 5.5" Hex-Logic Pad
- Chemical Guys - Black 5.5" Hex-Logic Pad
- Chemical Guys - Orange 5.5" Hex-Logic Pad
- Sonus SFX-2 Enhance Polish
- Sonus SFX-3 Final Finish Polish
Will this be good enough to give my...
Sup?
I have a 182, and the windscreen washers are not working (the headlight ones are working fine). I hear the motor, there is liquid in the washer bottle thing, but nothing sprays out :dapprove:
Any ideas?
Hello,
I understand that hubcentric spacers are the best option to go for, as they're safer because the weight rests on the hub as normal, rather than on the bolts when using a non-hubcentric spacer.
Now, am I right in thinking that a hubcentric spacer comes with bolts which allow you to...
Hi all,
My car runs like a dog for about 10 mins from cold. It's become unbearable now.
I plugged in a code reader and it returned the following:
P0130 O2 Sensor Circuit
P0135 O2 Heater Circuit
From searching on here I understand that the pre-cat lambda needs replacing.
I just had a very...
Hi all,
My 182 needs a 72k service in about 500 miles, however I do not need the cam/aux kit/belts doing as these were both done a 1yr/19k miles ago.
I've called my local Renault garage and they quoted £249, another local Renault garage (indy place) quoted over £300.
I went to JMS last year...
Saw you earlier, around 7.45ish picking some people up I think. I was also in an Arctic 182, missing my turn, haha!
You're definitely on here as you has a CS.net sticker :)
Silver 197 parked up near me at St. Johns sports centre, then I saw a Blue 200 at the roundabout near the Kent & Sussex hospital.
Hello, if you're on here!
Hi all,
Just sticking some new front pads on, but I can't get the piston to budge so obviously nothing will fit :(
I realise that I might need to undo the cap on the brake fluid resevoir but I'm not sure where this is. Is it the thing down the back of the engine on driver's side (need to...
Parked up outside Mr India, I was heading home to Punnetts Town to eat easter egg and drink beer.
I also saw a White 200 outside P&P in Tunbridge Wells, and a Blue 1*2 drive past P&P as well. Both about 6.30-7ish
I had to hang around in town today whilst my girlfriend was at a rehearsal for something, so I went to a car park and took some photos. Sorry there's quite a few, I got carried away.
I did a big pre-summer clean today, which included washing, claying, polishing, and waxing. It took 6 hours in total, and I am absolutely shattered!!
Products used were:
Meg's Hyper wash (for both snow foam and washing)
AG Surface Detailing Kit
AG Super Resin Polish
AG HD Wax
Bilberry...
