Been away from the forum for some time, so hi all.
I'm looking to buy an RS200 Clio. I have previously had 1 X 172 and 2 X 182s. I have no experience with the RS200 and don't really know what to look for. My questions are as follows.
1, How do I know a car I'm looking at is a 200 and not a late...
My car is currently at the dealers with the clutch in bits, I have done 12k miles.
I could feel a vibration through the clutch pedal when changing gear, which I have been told is a pressure plate related problem.
What is the standard procedure when undertaking warranty work of this nature? A...
For some time now I have had a rattle coming from the rear of my car.
Today I got someone to agitate the rear spoiler whilst I sat in the car, bingo, this I what has been doing my head in for so long.
Does anybody know where I can get some single sided sticky foam tape to cushion the...
I had a look at my mate's newly bought 172 yesterday.
I used to have the same Iceburg 172 as his, mine was an 02 plate, his is a 51 plate.
I noticed there were no internal alarm sensors at the top of the "A" posts.
Is there someone on here who can cross reference his reg number to find out...
I will be looking to upgrade my Sony Ericsson W810i in the next couple of days.
I'm with T-Mobile, and have been on Personal Call tariff for the past 12 years.
Would changing to Flext 25 be a better option than my existing tariff?, I would also get a free phone if I change my tariff.
So if...
I need to have my clutch cable changed, I called a dealer who said they would need my car for 3 days, in which time they would determine the problem, order in parts and do the job.
I'm 100% sure I just need a new clutch cable, so at the end of the month the dealer needs my car for 3 days to do...
For the past 2/3 weeks I have had very spongy brakes. I bled the system with no inprovement.
So, today I have fitted Goodridge Hoses (thanks RiceRocketUk) EBC Greenstuff pads and Brembo High Carbon discs, aswell as new brake fluid again.
All I can say is wow. What an improvement. After just...
Got my order through this week, ordered last Wednesday, arrived on Monday.
I have wired a 20 metre arctic cable straight to the P.C.
Just got to find a few victims to start practising on.
I just thought I would share with you my first experience with Elite Car Care.
At 14:22 yesterday, I ordered this,

And at 10:30 this morning it arrived.
Fantastic...
My brother is looking to buy a new car, he has a Titanium 55 plate 182 to part ex.
I told him I would have his car off him, I have an Inferno 05 plate 182. Obviously there would be a very slight difference in value between the two cars, which I would pay him cash, so he would bot lose out...
After a 100 mile motorway journey, I can now feel a vibration when I dip the clutch pedal to change gear.
The only unusual part of my 100 mile journey was through some deepish standing water around an island, but I can't see this causing the vibration I can now feel.
My 182 has covered 9000...
I have an Alpine CDA 9835R, it is wired taking a direct feed from the battery and also uses a separate earth.
I am running Infinty 5.25" speakers front and rear.
My problem is the sound volume keeps dropping, then rising back to the set level, is this an amp problem?
I do not overdrive the...
My Brother picked up his new Titanium 182 today.
Unfortunately the 182 handbook (thin pamphlet) which accompanies the main clio owners manual is missing.
The part number on my book is 82 00 449 459, but this number is not showing up anything on the dealers parts system.
Does anyone in the...
I'm following on from the thread debating whether or not the 9835R should have a direct power feed.
I stand corrected and have decided to rectify my omission of an extra power feed and earth.
Therefore, would someone be so kind as to post an idiots guide to rectifying my oversight. I'm a bit...
Changed the oil this morning on my 182.
To my horror I found the sump plug was only nipped up finger tight from the factory.
Bloody French monkeys.
Might be worth checking if you have a new car.
Should the paint finish on my struts look like this?
Is this finish due to some sort of sealer or is it bubbled paint, it is soft, I could sink my finger nail into it, and even scratch it off if I wanted.
If other 182 owners would take a look at their cars and post a reply I would be most...
Anyone who has a 172 or 182 will no doubt know how difficult it is to remove the oil filter.
I have bought a set of oil filter wrenches, so hopefully an oil change will be made much easier.

Just been to my local dealer to have my whistling door mirror looked at, whilst there I was told there is a recall for the wiper motor.
Can anyone else confirm?
I now have 8 pics of my 182 uploaded at photobucket in an album.
Call me stupid, but what do I do now to get them onto the forum.
Not done this before, so please explain fully.
Many thanks, Lee.
Can anyone verify the Renault part number for an Inferno touch-up pen please.
I have part number 77 11 226 653 D38 Rouge.
Is this correct for an Inferno 182?
Will orange seatbelts from a Megane 225 fit a 182.
My new inferno 182 is in the country. I was thinking I would like to have orange belts.
Would they fit without too much trouble or modification
Lee.
I have an Arctic Blue 182 with both cup packs. It was registered late June 2004, 04 plate, so its 7 months old and done 4900 miles.
Im thinking about trading in and getting another equivalent 182 which will be 05 plate.
How much do you think I should pay to swap? This the only figure Im...
Does the 182 have an undershield? My 172 did, and im sure I noticed it before on my 182. Now it is gone. I assume the Renault monkeys forgot to replace it.
My now 3 month old 182 had to go back in to dealers to get warranty work done. After my experience with Sutton Park Coventry, there was no way I am ever going back to those ignorant monkeys.
So I went back to where I bought the car, Sutton Park Warwick, where they assured me my car would be...
