I'm looking for a new gearbox for my DCi 80 and a cheap DCi 65 gearbox has come up for sale close to me. My question is: Is there anything different between the two gearbox's or am I ok to stick the 65 box on my 80? Cheers

Noticed recently that all my lights are pulsing on idle including the window motors also pulsing when putting the window up. Everything stops pulsing when about 2k rpm is reached. Is this likely to just be the alternator needing replaced or is there anything to check/clean/replace first?

Looking to get an oil temp and oil pressure gauge soon but i'm unsure where to put them. On the A pillar looks to F&F, in the vents looks odd with round gauges in a square hole and on top of the clock just looks out of place! I was thinking about removing the clock and putting 2 gauges in there...
