Anyone got a tv mount for their Kinect 2.0 ?
My tv cabinet is only about a foot off the floor and it's a bit too low - plus I want to get a soundbar in the new year, so really want to mount the kinect on top of the TV
Microsoft recommend a kit by PDP -...
This got touched on in burpspeeds thread, but got derailed. It's still bugging me though so want to know what other people think
Why do all Clio parts seem to have a "Clio Tax" added on? Are people just happier paying more for the same stuff??
I made a little comparison list between a Clio...
Selling my old 80gb iPod
Used to have this in my car linked to my headunit but use my iPhone now over bluetooth so thought I'd sell it
It's awesome if your headunit has iPod control as it has a huge 80gb and you can put your entire iTunes library on it. Can also watch videos from it if you have...
My biggest priority for winter is to get a diff in the car.
Current thoughts are quaiffe as I do still want to occasionally use it on the road (ring trip especially) and the gripper might be a bit harsh. But I have also been looking at mfactory diffs as they seem to be popular with the jap lads...
Noticed today there seems to be a bolt missing from the front of my gearbox
Threads seem ok and looking at the clean area I'm guessing there is supposed to be a bolt there lol
Must have rattled loose
Anyone know what size/thread it is? or where I can get one?
Ta
My mate has an Integra DC2 Type R which he put up on axel stands one winter 4 years ago and then just left it there
He's trying to clean it up now to sell it or break it (whichever is best) so has had it towed to my house
It's covered in green mould/mildew - though it does seem to wipe off...
Anyone know a good company who can corner weight a car around Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire
I need to weigh the track car for working out what trailer to buy - figured I might as well get it properly corner weighted too :)
I've been having a weird missfire on the Clio for a while now - holding the throttle at a steady 50/60 it sort of "coughs" every so often like it's missing
Now when I fitted the ITB's I fitted them with the fuel rail and injectors from the 182 as it was lower mileage - but one of the...
Hey guys/gals
There's a few lincolnshire people who can't make Cliosport Saturday so we're having a little mini-meetup at the Pride of Lincoln this Sunday
5pm - food, drinks and a bit of banter in the car park.
Maybe go for a quick drive out.. whatever people want to do really
I'll be...
Right guys/gals
A few of us are having a meet on Sunday
5pm - Pride of Lincoln pub, just off the main bypass
If you're about come and say hi. If you're on your way back from modded nats then pop in for a coke
More the merrier :D
We'll be hanging around for an hour I would have...
I want to play around with some different toe/camber settings this year - and really don't want to pay £60 each time to have the local garage monkeys do it
After watching a load of BTCC teams use the string method I've decided to have a go
I understand the concept - fishing line between 2...
So a few times garages have mentioned play in the steering rack/inner tie rod joints on my Cup
Now it's all apart on the bench I've put the inner tie rods in the vice and tried moving them, one has maybe a little tiny nock you can just feel but no visual movement, other has no nock at all and...
I got an MOT advisory on the track car for slight play on inner tie rod. Kinda expected as they have done 118k
I could get them both replaced at BTM same time as I get cambelt done (end of summer) but I had a thought
Looking through BIGASH's build thread I really want to swap my PAS rack...
There's a lot of things going through my head at the moment with the Clio... I won't bore you all to death with it.. but one of them is to sell the bodies (and omex if needed), buy a spare low mileage engine and build up a turbo'd lump.
Roughly (and I know this is an how long is a piece of...
Right,
I've found the invoice for the last cam-belt my Clio had - it was while Sir_Dave had it at 62,353 in July 2008
The car has now done a little over 117k - so it's done around 55k but is 4.5 years old
I believe the interval is 5 years or 72k - so it's not due on the mileage but it is...
This is a genuine question, I'm not s**t stirring or trying to start a war..
Coming from 106owners people on there will defend 106's to the death, they destroy everything on track blah blah etc..
SaxP is the same and so is every other car forum I've dealt with, full of people passionate...
Does anyone on here have access to parts codes for Clios?
Basically I'm planning on swapping my 172 Cup front hubs to 182 Cup hubs so I can fit some AST's I'm buying
I've got a reg plate for a 182 Trophy/Cup - and I've got my reg plate
I wondered if someone could check wishbone, track...
Right,
Let's have it out with the people who actually do track days/sprints/tin tops
I've been offered some KW V2's pretty cheap, and I want rid of my bilsteins as not being adjustable I really struggle to get the car setup right
Anyone got any experience with KW's? I was hoping for...
The loom that came with my Omex 600 is awful - some of the cables are stretched and others are about a meter too long
Utter turd off-the-shelf generic shite
While the car is off road this winter I want to move the Omex into the glove box and create a new loom for it
Is this something that I...
Few pictures of the Clios from the Tin Top races last weekend
If any of the owners want to use on their blogs or websites or whatever - feel free :)
If there's any pics people don't want up - just shout and I'll delete them

Anyone ever used one?
I was off to buy a Canon 28mm f1.8 this week as I need a wide lens to complement my 70-200 - but after using a mates they're quite soft wide open
Then a friend recommended the Sigma 30mm f1.4 to me - apparently really popular with dslr video nuts - which is something I...
My car recently has started "coughing" when driving around mid-throttle - I notice when it does it the Wideband gauge goes really lean - so I'm thinking one of my injectors is cutting out occasionally
There's a possibility it could be the omex wiring loom as it's shite - but the injectors are...
Just processed and put a couple of pics up on flickr from Trax this weekend..
Still a bit of a mixed bunch of different styles, trying to find a style I like to stick to, these are a bit more documentary styleee I think?
Comments welcome

Right then, it's been waaaay too long since we had a meet in Lincoln - and the days are getting shorter already now so we're missing the opportunity for some drives out :)
Anyone interested?
We could just meet up somewhere, go for a drive, finish at a pub for some food/banter..
Or we...
Did anyone actually take any decent shots of the show (other than the ones I've seen from Niall) - and I don't mean pissed up camping or creeper stalking someone else's girlfriend shots?
I've got this little Alpine box that allows me to control the stereo through the Clio stalk controls - but also shows the current track on the dash display
As the stereo in my car is in the glovebox this was really handy
However a month ago the display stopped working
When I had a look a...
I've run 205/50/15's on my car since I got the 2118's - quite a few people recommended the extra width and apart from a little tiny bit of scrubbing on the inner plastic arches at the back (which needs binning anyway) - had no problems
Question is now I'm gonna be ordering some FZ-201's or...
What's the plan lads?
Are we going the long way and meeting at woodall with the yorkshire lot - or are we heading down to Leicester Forest East services and meeting yorkshire/east mids lot?
Be good to get a big convoy on the go :D
