Hiya. I've got a low boost pH2 172. Taking engine out soon for new clutch, cam belt etc. Whilst it's all out was going to go with a megane head gasket and go for a little more power. Which hg do I need exactly?

Right I've got my sump off at min to drill block for my oil return from turbo. I've been seeing a bit about modding the oil pressure relief valve.
Has any body got a guide to do this?

Hi I got a turbo kit last week Garrett gt2560r. Anyway I was mocking up on bench and noticed the oil feed pipe was just touching actuator arm so went to slacken adjuster just to move it round slightly to get clearance and the bas***d thing snapped so in nee of new one if any one can point me in...
Anybody know what year they started to put the jc5 130 box into 172s.
I can get a gearbox out of a 53 plate just wondered what's the chances of it being a 130 with bolted diff????

Im just in the middle of fitting an sm inlet manifold can anyone tell me what you do with alternator top bracket? I know the support bracket gets binned. How does the actual bracket bolt back up with engine mount aswell? Also does the alternator need to come off?

hiya right ive gotta do head gasket on a 2000 1.2 8v mtv eddition and i cant find out which No's are which bolts ive found the sequence but dont know which bolt is which ie bolt 1 is left bottom bolt 2 is top left and so on can anybody help thanks Dave?
engine pulls harder just before upto temp and then feels a bit slower when upto temp (half way on guage)could this be a temp sender poblem?

just wondering if as above am i right in thinking that when the wheels spin up does the esp just take power away from that wheel or put sum breaking power to that wheel through the abs block?
right here goes my front drivers side brake was binding slightly so decided it was time to sort it out as i was making a trip to wales the day after. So took caliper off (not from brake pipe tho) cleaned up he carrier, pads and caliper itself, pushed piston back in a bit just to get it back over...
right just changed the pads in my 172 when finished pumped the brake pedal everything felt fine until i just drove it there's no pedal until i pump it but then goes again straight after. really need to sort this out going wales tomorrow any advice would be grateful thanks
Im really p***ed off parked my car outside my m8's house for about 10 min and come out 2 find a nice deep scratch right down the back quater. im guessing a pram because there is a school just round the corner and lots of people walk past with prams and it was when school was just finishing it...
right my 172 passanger side engine/gearbox mount went about 2 month ago so got 1 from scrappers and has just gone again. is this a common fault, is there any modified 1 or uprated part thanks dave.
hiya i got a handbrake cable of my m8 and it came from a ph1 and didnt fit my ph2 was to short. so will a 182 handbrake cable fit a ph2 172? thanks dave
