Ive recently fitted 10mm spacers on the rear and when i go over a bump my wheels are catching the lip on my rear arch, could i just use a grinder and sand it down slowly to avoid hear building up and bubbling my paint and then just spray over it?

When i go over small bumps in the road i have a creak noise from the shocks, i thought it was the top mounts so i replaced them and it didnt change a thing! So i got out the car and when i rock it back an forth the creak definetly comes from the shock :( any ideas?
