Hope someone can help. I've got the issue with the lights coming on which goes away when the connection is wiggled and I want to fix it.

I'm getting confused because I've read two different...
I stopped to get petrol and the damn thing wouldn't restart, I had to push it out of the way of the pumps :mad:
I don't know if it's related but in the last week I've seen the red light flash when trying to start the car (and the engine hasn't turned over), but it always worked second time...
I've always felt my 172 wasn't all that fast and I suspected the timing was set incorrectly. I also knew the O2 sensor needed changing but I stupidly never thought that could be causing the problem. I finally got round to doing it today, only I undid the cable connector but couldn't unscrew...
I bought a 172, 3 days ago, for £1,400!
It came with 3 days left on the MoT, which means the old one expired today. I expected to have to shell out a few hundred more to get it through, but I took it in today and it passed! :o
It's had the cambelt done at 79k (it has 96k now) in June...
I'm soon to be a 172 owner, and I've learnt how expensive it is to have the cambelt changed properly. I've done a couple of cambelts before on other cars and intend to have a go myself when the time comes. I know from a search that there's loads of people in the same boat who have had to buy or...
