Track cars - ideas for interior security covers ?

Stripped out car. Rear cage no seats etc. Been trying to think about cool ideas to cover up stuff carried in the back so it's out of sight. Less likely to be broken into then when the car is left over night or parked. For example. Hoping to do a few proper road trips in the car, carrying...

Photos please: showing boost pipes under the TB

Mine seem a very very snug fit and I'm looking for ways or ideas how to tweak/improve it. Yet to secure mine all up properly, but two of the pipes are currently resting on each other. If anyone could send me some pics of theirs so I can compare that would be extremely helpful. Ta

Are OEM Fan mounting points different between rads? - AC vs Non AC cars

Does anyone know for sure if the OEM fan mounting points on the rads are different between cars with AC and cars without it. 172/182s.. Basically will an OEM fan shrouding/ housing, from an AC car fit straight onto a rad of a non AC car (both clio fitment) or visa versa, will a fan...

Boosted 1*2s chaps - what rad do you have?

As above. What rad did you go for? and has it been enough to keep the temps down? Currently have a Direnza VW Golf rad with my ITBs and am just researching if it'll be any good to cope with the addition of a snail. Cheers

Problems selecting third gear on track again.. Ideas?

In the past I've often had issues selecting third gear on track days. Mainly because 3rd and 4th are the only gears I use at Brands Hatch. Anyway, I'll will be flat out in 4th, brake hard pre corner, down into 3rd and often I just cannot select it. It happened on a few occasions last night...

TV - Looking for one for <£400 - Talk to me?

Chaps, and ladies. I'm decorating my new house and need a new TV. I've NEVER ever bought a TV before so I "know nothing" (John Snow). Just that we don't need anything too fancy like a curved glass or 60 incher. We only use our current one to watch Freeview and Netflix via the xbox. Not...

So I want some windows for the Clio. I don't want sliders I want a flat plastic window. My question is, whether the Margard chemical coating is essential or not? Or are there other alternatives? A pair of flat front windows with the hard coating is coming out over £250..... Has anyone...

Toyota Hilux - 3L Diesel - Top Spec

My old man has put the family wagon up for sale. No other reason than because he wants a change. Had it from new for three years now. Not had any issues, apart from a heated seat button which Toyota fixed. 19K miles. Full Toyota service history. Great spec with roof and roll bars. I've...

Clever people - iPhone 6 and photo import change problems !

Lads, I've been uploading photos from my iPhones to the PC for years. I've always loved how easy and user friendly it was. You can simply open your device in windows explorer and sort the photos into order. So you can then easily find the most recent ones you haven't uploaded yet. Now I've...

New Box, Serious Juddering on N/S wheel under load. Any Ideas?

Did an evening at Brands last night. All was good apart from this nasty juddering I was getting from the N/S wheel on any right hand corner. Speed I think is irrelevant, it was happening at Paddock, Druids and CC. The best way to describe how it felt was as if the near side wheel was loose...

    750MC Clio 182 Series - Brands Hatch - Round 1 - 25 April 2015

Great day of racing. A completely packed out grid. Special well done to @GW200 who finished 7th in the first race and 9th in the second race after lots of bumping. With a fastest lap time of 57.22 seconds. 56.86 was the fastest all weekend I think (Clios).

    Car Insurance

So it's that time of year again, need to sort the insurance out for the track clio. Always a pain trying to discuss values. Hate hearing the words 'market value' I've tried Adrian Flux, best price so far (£550). Brentacre couldn't get near it (£780) and Greenlight said they wouldn't be able...

Martin's Track Clio 182 Project Thread

I've been on here for a good couple of years now, but have always been against the idea of starting a thread for my track toy, mainly because I couldn't be bothered. I've been slowly collating all of my photos though and they are now stored reasonably well. So I thought I would make a change...

    Adding a Face(s) to a video - possible?

Chaps. So there's this video of a girl dancing that we'd love to add a guys face too (over her face obviously). Or maybe a few different pictures of his face as the dance routine changes. Private joke in the office. Is anyone clever with video editing software that could do this?? Or is it...

    This pressure washer any good?

Never had a pressure washer before and this seems dirt cheap. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AGD5J02/?tag=cliospnet01-21 Or is it cheap for a reason? Thinking it could be a good start. All I need is something which I can attach a snow foam lance too.
