A guy i work with has Mk2 ph1 RSI 1.6 16v. its got 2 keys key 1 does everything a key should Key 2 opens the doors remotly, and in the lock. BUT wont start the car. any ideas? i think the key fits the ignition but when it turns nothing happens! help please!

been a lean week so i have been on economy mode, im about 20 miles from getting the petrol light on and i have covered 353 miles. thats an all time record for me, even in my 1.4. its supprising the amount of people i still overtake when driving slowly. its also mind numbingly boring!
