CS my Dad scratched his camper and is wondering how he might be able to deal with it himself. Would appreciate your opinions on if it can be tackled by a novice or if it's better to take it somewhere?
Evening CS,
Noticed the rear light (right side) wasn't working. Took rear cluster out, got the rear light working looked as if the wires had become a little loose. Took car out tonight and the indicator on the left rear wasn't working and dash light and side/front lights were going double...
I need to get some cruise buttons so I can use the wires/connector to sort out some buttons for my Sabelt wheel.
Does anyone know if the connector is the same on the 197/200 cruise buttons? and if it is will they work, or am I better getting some Mk2 Laguna cruise buttons? (I've looked for...
Had a day off so went all Ken Block and took the car out to Buttertubs/North Yorks. It was pretty overcast so not brilliant for pictures and by the time I'd stopped the car was absolutely filthy, which is the way it'll stay all winter probably 😊.
Thought it was about time I made some effort to record the modifications I have done to date and future stuff planned. It started its life with me as a standard non cup 182. I've had the car for a few years now and the spec is as follows:
Mk1 Yozza Exhaust + Sleeved to Cat
Speedline 2118's...
The car owed me a drive so I thought I'd take some shots while I was out. As you can see I didn't have time to wash it and the rear lights out .
Future plans: spacers, seats, sabelt wheel, cage and harnesses.
Comments welcome. Nick
Searched and lots of people trying to do the opposite, but no answers to this.
Does anyone know of any problems fitting an OEM 172 exhaust/ or equivalent onto a 182 in terms of where the mounts are located etc, obviously I will need a ph2 bumper without cut outs.
I prefer the cleaner look of...
Evening all,
Went out this evening for a spirited drive, all fine until on the way home the water temp went bananas and was sitting at max until I was able to pull over. Engine stop light came on. I turned it off, opened the bonnet and let it cool off for a bit.
After a few minutes the temp...
If anyone knows the correct part number/ or can link me to eurocarparts/ebay etc with the correct pump that'd be awesome, I know there are two I just can't seem to find the right one. cheers Nick

Ok I would like to see what people opinions are of my current situation, I am not going to name the broker or underwriter as I am still giving them the opportunity to sort it out. Nevertheless I would still like some opinions on where I stand:
Called the broker and got quote for insurance on...
Had my wheel done by Jack at Royal Steering wheels. I have never been a fan of the thumb grips so they have been replaced with a more subtle shape. I went for napa leather top and bottom with perforated leather on the sides, and Renault Sport stitching. The craftsmanship is top quality and I am...
I have had a search and looked into several options to refurb the wheels, if anyone could give me any help that'd be great.
Option 1: The wheel specialist Leeds, searching I have seen good feedback on them and it'd be the easiest but most expensive option. I sent a quote request a while back...
Calling all Yorkshiremen
I'm wanting to refurb my wheels this weekend but I've no where flat to leave the car on axel stands, does anyone have a set of wheels I could borrow? All they need to be able to do is fit the clio and have tyres (they don't have to be legal)
Obviously any helpers would...
Right CS your advice is required please:
I'm thinking of giving the car a suspension refresh, it's a non cup packed 182 on Eibach Sportlines which has done 79,000 miles. There is no paperwork with the car to suggest that anything has been done to the suspension, bar the springs.
From...
The car we were going to use for Belgium has given up the ghost (RIP Renualt Scenic) so the 182 is hopefully going to step into the breach. Question is.... has any one successfully got 3 bikes on the roof of a clio 2. I'm going to be using OEM roof bars and Thule bike carriers.
Thanks in...
Im looking at some new wheels from my non cup packed 182 which is currently on sportlines, would the following wheel fit ok, or might it scrub? info from manufacturer: 7x16 ET35 4x100
cheers Nick
I have had a search and can't find what I need, can anyone tell me the best way to removed the headliner so I can get to the aerial base to change it over?
Will I need any tools to do this?
cheers Nick
I have had a search but still not found exactly what I need.
Does the inner arch lining of the front drivers side wheel arch provide enough protection for the Aux belt? Currently the front section of the arch lining is missing and the aux belt is clearly visable :S. I am getting the arch...
I have noticed that the rear bumper on my 182 doesn't fit flush to the light cluster/body work on the right hand side....
RIGHT:
The left hand side is looks like it should to me with no gap:
LEFT:
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to sort it or why it might be like that?
Also could it...
