... We have aquired a small company in the US and they are now looking to purchase 15 x Windows 7 laptops.
They currently only have quotes for Dell machines ... that actually look over specced and over priced!
Just wondering if any of you guys have a branch office or something and know of...
Anyone come across any issues when connecting to shares ?
Basically, they are really slow at connecting and navigating folder structures. There is obviously something not right.
Initially I thought I'd solved it because the primary suffix was pointing to our old domain (under system prefs...
Its a June 2006 premium model so out of warranty I guess. Wouldnt mind but its only been used as a DVD player for last 12 months
Had it since new, never been messed with or opened.
How much is it worth roughly if I sold it as faulty ?
If you search for our company name there were no sponsored links, but now there is one from one of our competitors ... obviously entered it in their phrase terms.
Is this legal ? Is there anything we can do about it ?
I dont want to get involved in the doing the same thing as I think its a...

I'm actually a developer myself, but I need a designer to help with a project I'm working on.
It will actually be a fairly basic layout (I have a few ideas to get started with) but needs some creative design input to give it the wow factor.
The timelines are quite tight so I might be tempted...

Ok, I've barely ever used linux (although I did setup a mail server about 7 years back with a version of Suse).
I've got a cheapy aspire netbook with Linpus running (based on Fedora 8 I believe). I have the advanced mode enabled so I can get behind XFCE. It's just purely for messing around on...
I've just launched a new site this week for my business and am looking to market it. Been developing on and off for 10 years now so I do know quite a bit. However, when it comes to SEO I have limited knowledge and time! I know much of the advice tends to be link, link and more links.

I've setup our first one up with a new 'Be' pro line. However, the Draytek syncs lower (about 5-10%) than the Thomson Router.
Luckily our exchange is about 50m away so with the Thomson I'm getting a sync of 23,000 down (23mb), however with the Draytek I can only get 21,000 (21mb) down.
So...

We need to send an e-invite on behalf of a client to around 1000 users. Last time we used 'Mail List Controller' and sent it from our mail server which was quick and easy. However, we got around 10% bounce back I think due to spam filters etc.
I need a type of PAYG service ideally as its just...

Basically a lot of users will be at a remote office so they could plug the phone into their PC then we can...
Just a quick one this, the retail fan/cooler i've been using quite noisey and getting on my nerves now, looking for a reliable ultra quiet unit. I know these run quite a bit hotter than the core 2 duos but not looking to upgrade the cpu just yet.
Any advice guys ?
I've done nearly 50k in it now and its only ever been waxed once since new :o . Enlisted the skills of Scott at OCD detailing over in Bolton and holy sh*t what a difference!!! Top guy, nothing too much trouble and does exactly what he says he is gonna do.
Was thinking of selling because i...
