Ive removed gearbox from my track 182 had a rebuild and gripper diff fitted.put it all.back together and it wont fire.turns for 2/3 seconds than stops.solid red light when cranking.tryed holding button on key and turning,sinking the centrel lockong button,lockong unlocking etc to no avil.car has...

thanks fellas,its got cams,remap etc done by k tec pryer to me owning the car,its done 137000 but seems strong.it gets hammered at combe tbh.im after torque not hp.it has a dyno print out of 197 at present.goes well but it is light now.i'll keep my eyes ooen.anyine has one for sale pm please

what gains do these see?where can they be purchased.perhaps this and a diff may tick the boxes

ive pulled the standard trim etc from my 182,put sparco seats,belts and cage in.air bag lights on is there a fix to get them out please.tia paul

Right i did a trsckday a couple of weeks ago and think i boiled the fluid.the fluid level was spot on the correct marks etc.today ive taken the car out and whilst driving there was a noise which sounded like it was coming form the offside front(squeal).its vert wet around the o/s of the engine...

Right im on soax coilovers etc solid top mounts etc and the car is spirited driving track car.im looking to run a couple of degrees camber with camber bolts(already have these).the car is currently running 5mm front spacers.will i have to go to a thicker spacer to get a couple ofdegrees...

Ive done a search on how these are for noise regs on uk circuits.anyone had theres tested and got a noise db reading?it sounds bloody noisey in car when your caining it about.bit worried as doing a trackday in a couple of weeks.did llandlow afew weeks ago but didnt get tested.cheers

I love my 182 as a daily and track hack but my mk2 escort pisses on it in every department for fun etc even tho it would struggle on a short track lao time wise.

Im running the normal 16inch cup wheels on my 182 with general road tyres.im in the process of buy a spare set of wheels for track use.could anyone tell me a decent track tyre and what width i can use on the car please.its currently running spax coilover kit cambolts etc.as said only a spare...

Right if i lock the car on the standard fob everything locks as it should but thete is a constant high pitch continual noise coming from near the washer bottle in the n/s/f scuttle.unlock car on fob and it stops.dont want to flatten battery over night.cheers for any help.this thing does have...
