Ye its not dephaser thats more of a knocking noise. Its a high whine. Once driving in higher revs aint as noticeable.- Mtaylor172

New member help please.
Just purchased a clio 172 on a 02 plate. Drove it home and next day its making a noise when revving the car. On idle theres no noise. Its like a whining noise which i thought could be alternator. A friend had a megan 1.6 which made a similar noise he says its a tensioner. Can anybody help...- Mtaylor172
