It has been announced that there will be no UK World Series by Renault in 2012. It is moving abroad to either Brazil or Russia... :S
It will return to the UK in 2013.

A few pics from today's 197/200.net meet down at Demon Tweeks. We then headed out for a bit of a drive and called at The Egerton Arms, Chester, for a late lunch :)
Was a good meet and great to meet some new faces!
All pics courtesy of Matt, AKA Gromb200...
Looking for some 'in the know' knowledge here please...
I have a Nokia X6 on contract with O2, the phone is presently less than a year old, I've had it 12 months in March.
So, anyway, the screen started playing up about a month ago now, so I sent it off to O2 who had it for two weeks and...
Just had a chat with you (Mark) but never asked your forum ID!
Was wierd following you down the M65, finally got to see what mine looks like from behind! ;)
Only a couple of us there, still, a great little meet with some good roads and good banter.
Enjoy :)
All credit for the amazing pics must go to Giles! Top work, as always!
A few of us from over on 197 have a little meet organised down at Demon Tweeks with some discounts on the day etc. Here are the details anyway, short notice I know but hey ho -
All welcome! :approve:
A site that I frequent went down last week whilst they carried out some forum maintenance, it was back online within a few hours and all was well.
BUT, since then I have been unable to access the site when I'm round at my mum's using either her PC or her laptop. When I'm at home on my...
After doing 230 odd miles yesterday....
...the car was filthy...
MPG was respectable too after hooning round Oulton for a good few hours...
After a quick bath, much better...
/wh**e :rasp:
This probably wont interest everyone, but here's some action shots of my 200 down at Oulton today.
Great weather too!
Enjoy,
All pics are courtesy of Xtreme Sports Photography.
Oh, and yes, I know the car is filthy :rasp:

Anyway, the full write up has finally landed, enjoy -
Here we're looking at the very capable Renault Sport Clio 200. This has been rated as one of the best front wheel drive hot hatches going.
The car is a matter of months old, but...
As per, I will organise another RR day over at Paul's place if there's enough interest?
As before I will call up and pay the £50 deposit providing people are willing to pay me the £5 deposit each to confirm their attendance?
So, get your names down if you are definitely up for it. I will...
I'm looking for a wiring diagram of the loom that goes to the drivers side door plug/socket arrangement on a current shape Twingo.
If anyone can provide the above I'd be most grateful :)
Having had the car over to John @ Miglior Detailing yesterday, it was obvious that the paintwork isn't in great condition for a 3 month old car. Most probably due to the dealer 'cleaning' the car prior to me collecting it.
Had plenty of visible buffer trails, amongst other things, under the...
...on a car that didn't come with one from the factory, but has the option dependant on spec.
Is it as simple as buying the sensor and finding the loom within the door to connect it to? Or will it be a different loom as it wasn't in the spec list?
Any help appreciated, I've asked Renault...
Been quoted £100 just to retain the steering controls...
Anyone know of any adpators/interfaces available for the 200 in order to retain controls and display?
Kit came courtesy of the good chap over at MT Audio :)
Finally fitted it today, and the free LED sidelights, after having the car for almost a month now :o
Not the greatest pics but looks alot better than the standard yellow IMO and hopefully retains the OE look quite well.
I wont mention any names incase the owner doesn't want identifying.
Not a nice sight at all, but all 3 occupants walked away unhurt - Renault 5 star N-Cap did it's job it seems!
