on another note, that wiring harness is riddled with issues, Renault has since re designed it.

yer thats the problem im having, goign to haev to unravell it and re do it all, ran it on diagnostic and it came back as map sensor fault, its intermittent, so must be a wire earthing out every now and then

theres a cage round the ecu on the back of the inlet manifold, ill put a twix on it being that.

it rubs through on the driver side plug.

sod unravelling it, they corrode internally, rub through on corners, short out inside loom casings.......buy a new loom from Renault, it's not that expensive and a well known fault

Ill have a go at just repairing the section mentioned above first!
Hutchie, is it underneath some covers or something? all i can remember is the plug to the right off the blue box you've drawn (my girlfriend use's the car so dont see it through the day other wise i'd go crack on)
