1.2 Geabox dog bone mount... how to change?

I have no terrible symptoms, although my gear stick does move a lot more than it used to when giving a bit of gas quick...

Gear changes seem a bit clunky than they used to, ruled it down to the dog bone mount?

Car feels good just abit sloppy on gear change,

Is it and easy change? if i buy the full dog bone and not just the bushes?

Support gearbox and just straight unbolt and re bolt?

  Clio 172mk2
renault will be full mount metal and rubber, its only the uprated bush`s where you change

just 2 bolts no need to support gearbox

Nice one Biojo,

Anyone got the part no?

If my gearstick is moving somewhat more than it used to, and the changes are feeling slightly clumpy when fast worth a change?

Anyone got aftermarket part link? 1.2 2003..

Or part no please?

8200155207 cost me £21.78 off wests Renault on here

Changed it today literally 2 bolts took about 2 minutes to change.

Dont laugh  dog bone at the back correct? just checking ;)

So again checking it simply unbolts once that bar at the front is taken off?... then new one gets bolted on yeah, nothing needs supporting bar the car...?

Ive PM'd fred to double check fore the new part no and price, JackJacks number ill go and try, just didnt think it would be 20 quid, my renault mecanic said "err about £40" so if it is £20 thats golden

i used a renault one on mine after getting a cheap one which lasted 2 weeks!

Cheers mike, from looking at the Renault part the after market didn't look very built to me, will be going for the Renault part, hope its still £25 or less

So double checking nothing needs to be supported? doesn't look like it from looking...

All done now, code given by JackJack was current and correct so cheers for that mate, Price has gone up to £25.94

Very easy job, the bar at the front needs to be unbolted slightly furthest towards the engine, then the bolt facing down taken completely out, then the large circle with the mount inside, spanner one end, ratchet to unbolt the other, take out, put in, bolt up.

Can feel a noticeable difference, still feels like somethings a bit lose,

May be engine mount,

Chuffed though :)

I ended up replacing all the mounts on my old clio with genuine parts was spot on after that.

How hard is it to change the top gearbox mount? Rough price?

Its being sold for a sport when im 21 but it wont stop me making sure the cars still in good nick for the new owner.
